THE GOOD:
The racing simulation is intense and accurate.Get hung out of the draft on a restrictor plate track, you'll lose positions like your standing still!

THE BAD:
Graphics are improved but could be better.#1 complaint of mine is the driver no longer shifts the trans while your inside the car!

SUMMARY:
Game was released before several sponser changes were made such as Dale Jarrett and Mark Martin.( UPS & Viagra) It is still very difficult to set up the car perfectly for each track, but for the tru NASCAR enthusiast, that's most of the fun.

THE GOOD:

Barely any cautions unrealistic damage

this is a really cool game. ive seen reviews were the reviewe said the gameplay is sketchy, they are full of crap. this is an awesome game ecept for the absence of yellow flags. i raced 8 races each 100 laps or longer and got 2 yellow flags combined. they need to add more wrecks and cautions in the next game.

If you wanna know, this is the boring game i ever played. The graphics are bad, the sound effects are bad, the gameplay are bad, the racers are bad, the cars are bad ....... everyhing is bad in this game !!!! If you still want to play this game, i recommend you to rent it first, and see it for yourself. You then will see what i mean ......

If you want real driving excitement, go take your car on the thruway. This game is poorly rendered, and is really a step backwards as compared to the other Nascar games of the past. The sound of your engine is atrocious, it sounds like the engine of the car from the "Enduro" Atari 2600 game. No, I'm not kidding. Listen closely! It's hard to believe that the same people who put out the awesome Need For Speed series put out this bad game. I would shop the competition before buying this game, I'd recommend only as a last resort.
