Micro Machines has been around for years and is a game most people have heard of. This version of the game for the PS1 is probably one of the better versions I ever played. There are plenty of modes ranging from time trials to championship races where winning is essential. If the glory of winning isn't enough then maybe the reward of a car to keep might spur you on a bit.
In the single player mode probably the best mode to race in is the championship one. You pick a character from a line-up and that determines the colour of the cars you will be using to race. Here you compete in a 5 race championship over 5 different tracks against 4 other people.
