Megaman8 is an incredible game that starts with reasonable story lines based on the anime series. As I can say about the intro. Of this game, I liked it because it is so original. It starts as a small cut scene of the anime series were Mega man and Bass are fighting. This intro story line was welled script and welled played as well as for my remarks, it's worth watching. It had dinamic colors as I never seen before in the PlayStation console and the sound was an A-1 class. They surely knew how to make the voices for the characters not like other cheap games! "Megaman, we need your help! Come right away!" this is what was zed so the animated scene stopped and transferred the player to the main menu. This intro was well planned and does coordinate with the events and when it should stop playing. In my criteria, I will give this intro-scene a 9.5/10 as for it just had few buffers but that is for the least of this marvelous game! As other Megaman games, in Megaman8 you do not need a certain code in order to start from a specific point or certain level as for it uses your PlayStation memory card to save your game progress data. Finally they did such a save option for this game! -- As in the past we needed a piece a paper to write the code in a sheet of paper and maid this a tiring and bored thing to do--now, all we need is a PlayStation memory card and 15kb to have the ability to save a game progress in Megaman8 game. What I think that Capcom should have devoted more work to is the games options. E.g., they should of added sound tracks, pics, game voice dumps, and etc., instead of just mono or stereo sound and game control options! As for my hypercritical mind, the main menu will receive a 2.5/10 as it's score. It didn't even have a mother load of pictures or an animated background at all! The maps are incredible! Megaman games are classified by there maps since the human mind needs to have some knowledge and strategy as for one small step may ruin your game life. The fast-paste maps of this game are highly hard to beat but fun to play. Each coordinate with the enemy found in the map and contains its own music. The map as nearly all Megaman games are in 2-D but that is OK because Megaman games are classified as such maps and this game would of been a "garbage" if they maid the maps in 3-D--as for the story lines will mess up. I love the maps of this game because they are not easy to beat. As for the maps, they will receive a score of 10/10; it's a reasonable score as for some maps include extra things such as secret areas. The music of this game sounds quite OK for a Megaman although I highly think that it should be more of "New Age" or "Ska" instead of the old-fashion-slow-techno style. As I said before, this game coordinates but the music sometimes gets sloppy and ones music gets sloppy, it starts to sound like a cross between Metalica and the music from Barney and friends (!)--that shows how critical this music can sometimes get. The music of this game will receive a 6/10 as for the developers tried at least to make descent music for the Megaman8 game. All of the main enemies (bosses) are fascinating! They are design for destruction as to destroy Megaman. The main enemies, each and one of them has its own map, music (which the music is horrible), special powers and voices. It was a great idea for the main enemies (bosses as formally known) have there powers based on earths elements: Water, fire, wind, earth, spirit. The main enemies are hard to beat as for--it is fun but hard to play. Stop with animal replicas! This game still uses animal figures as common robot enemies! This is tiresome as for they seem doing the same thing for Megaman games, using a relinquished of animals! It would have been a great idea for the game developer to create there own kind of robots and not base it on one animal and give it special powers! The score of the main enemies and common enemies will be 7.5/10; the common enemy screwed this game up but the main enemies didn't as for them, they do have there own characteristics. Megaman, as all of the games, gets to get special powers after defeating a certain boss. This powers that Megaman acquire are all new and upgraded in graphics. Certain powers make certain enemies die faster. Making this part of Megaman fun to play with. Besides Megaman acquiring powers, something new was made in this game. Megaman can buy items and powers by collecting certain items! He can acquire special abilities and powers. This gives more adrenaline to Megaman and makes this game funnier but it is a big bummer to look for this certain items. Megaman gets a high rating score in this review as for its score will be 10/10. Something extra in this game are the anime sequels. They are fun to watch and make this game funnier to play with. Megaman is the bomb but the developers of Megaman games may not be as great as Megaman. They might be the ones that make Megaman games less popular than the television episodes.

Megaman8 is an extraordinary game to play. I love this game and it will be in my "special cave" was I keeping all my favorite games. Megaman8 may not be as popular as the other sequels but I did love this game and really enjoyed playing it. Few things did mess up this game and will affect the reputation of the good-old games of Megaman. The score that I will give to this game will be 8/10 [7.8 is the score that I got when adding up the scores] (4/5 as for the Neoseeker scoring system). It deserves this grade and no higher than this scores.
