Major League Baseball 2002 is the latest addition the great series of baseball games. This time there are all new addition and better graphics, on this most likely one of the last ones to come out on the Playstation. The controls are basically the same as last years version, which is not a bad thing. As a said earlier, the graphics are great especially for the Playstation. On top of that the sound system has been completly redone and hit its mark. For baseball fans and non baseball fans alike this is a good game. However, I would not recomend anyone to buy this game, but it certainly is worth a rent for baseball fans.
This is the best of the MLB games for 2001, I own High Heat Baseball 2002 and rented Triple Play. This is by far the best of the lot. The graphics are spectacular, and the game play is excellent. After about a day of playing the game I was soundly beating the computer on the highest(all star) level. The competition is better, but it is very easy to rack up about 20 hits a game. I solved that though by just using HIT AVG instead of power. I also found that if a player hits a homer first time up, then when he comes up again he is 0-1 but his homers and RBI's are correct. Just something I noticed, but other than that the game is sound and a lot of fun to play.
