THE GOOD:Gameplay, customization, two scenarios.
THE BAD:
Story sucks.
SUMMARY:
With two scenarios, this tactical game, with a grid based setup, has plenty of replay value. With a few same characters in each scenario, and 5 or 6 different ones, as well as many different mech (wanzers) parts, upgrades for the parts, and quite a few weapon types, the customization is close to endless. There is also RPG elements within the game, as each character can level up each weapon type from A, A*, A**, A***, B, etc. up to F, F*, F**, F***, and finally, S. In a mission-based setup, there are plenty of battles in each scenario, and the stories intertwine, however, the story itself could put an insomniac asleep. Thankfully, Square included a skip story feature, so story isn't really a problem. The game is also easy to understand, battle-wise, and the learning curve in tactics isn't steep, either.
