Background:
Kazuki Temura works as a test pilot at Kirishima Industries, a wanzer production plant. While delivering a newly constructed wanzer to the Japanese Defense Force Base, Kazuki and his best friend Ryogo Kusama, witness a massive accidental explosion.
Kazuki, then, learns that his sister, Alisa, who works at the Yokosuka Base Laboratory, was involved in the explosion. Kazuki, Ryogo and Emma, a scientist they meet at a bar, are determined to investigate the case and find Alisa.
But Alisa is nowhere to be found… Upon discovering a worldwide conspiracy responsible for the explosion, Kazuki and his gang begin their battle for peace.

Gameplay:
Players select a party of up to 4 characters each battle. Each character pilots his own Wanzer, a mech-based war machine with its own set of up to 4 weapons (2 hand and 2 back), and own exoskeleton. Unique abilities can be learned based on the weapon the wanzer is equipping, and the actual parts the wanzer is composed of. Characters attack their enemies by use of their weapons, and techniques are randomly added as a string of attacks.
