THE BAD: its got 221000 miles on the little bugger
SUMMARY: Hey dont diss on the little festivas man. mine has dual 4" exhaust, 14 lb. turbo, 15" drag wheels and tires, intake, cams, and bunches of other crap. i've never thought a festiva can do 150 but mine on the other hand..... anyways, dont knock the car till u have owned one and have had the joy of playin around in somethin thats just a tiny bit larger than an Austin Mini! hahaha
THE BAD: Not many tracks not many cars the cars don't go fast You only have to do one lap you only race against six racers graphics are not great you can't race in a truck The racers you race with are too slow you are too slow the carear mode is too simple you can't chose the car you race with in carear mode
SUMMARY: I don't think this game is great you can only go about 60 M per hour!
nothing beats the edge-of-your seat thrill of shotting down straightaways and barreling around corners,white-knucklud fingers clamped down on a wheel of a...ford festiva? In one of the odder licencing deals of racing memory,Empire INteractive has teamed up with its legendary manufacturer of such coveted models as the Escort and the Taurus to deliver a racing game that, while not exactly exhilarating,is at least surprisingly compotent considering its$10 price tag.The gameincludes a fair amount of cars and tracks, all of which are opened up by playing through the career mode. career is handled pretty well, the single vehicle seasons can get fairly monotous. I mean who drives a festiva for fun? Graghics are serviceable but completly without frills.Tracks tend toward monotony, though off-road segments on certain cources do add some variety.Controls are similarly exceptional. All in all,a firmly mediocre game with an attractive price tag-kind of like the cars themselves.
