Evil Zone is probably one of the most overlooked fighting games around, yet for those who are willing to seek it out; the gaming experience contained within is hardly a disappointment.
The characters are a colorful bunch; ranging from cybernetic heros and spell-casting princes to kickboxing amazons and sword-slinging schoolgirls. The variety of personalities is enough to ensure that any player will be able to find a character they enjoy using.
The fighting system is extremely unique, requiring gamers to use a limited range of buttons to perform attack types in carefully timed sequences in order to defeat their opponent. The system requires a bit more strategy than your typical "punch all the button combos as fast as you can" tactic found in most other fighting games.
There's certainly no shortage of unlockable extras either. Players can open up extra costumes, audio samples and background information.
The only fallback of this game is that sometimes the verbal audio samples blare out a bit too loudly, causing severe static. Other than that tiny setback, this game is definitely worth having.
