Digimon Rumble Arena

SUMMARY:
Digimon Rumble Arena is a fighting game released for the PS1. There isn't a huge deal to say about the outline of the game, 1 Player mode is the Story mode of the game, where you battle a digimon on a stage and move on to the next digimon at another stage if you win.

The aim is to get to the end of 1 Player mode. It isn't as easy as it sounds though, as you have a couple of very tough enemies to beat at the end, namely BlackWarGreymon occasionally and Reapermon all the time.

If you do get to the end though you will unlock the Warp digivolution oh whichever digimon you played as to use through the whole battle in the Arcade mode.

The game is actually suprisingly difficult. You get to set the difficulty from Easy to Normal to Hard but it's...

Quite High-Quality Graphics
Good Music And Voice Acting
Most of the rest of the Game, really!

THE BAD:
Slightly too unfair sometimes in the more difficult battles.

SUMMARY:
Digimon Rumble Arena is BanDai's answer to Super Smash Brothers, and what an answer it is!

The game features 24 Digimon in total, including Agumon, Veemon, Guilmon and Renamon, among others. These Digimon can, during Battles, Digivolve into more powerful forms, such as WarGreymon and Metal-Garurumon. Successfully completing the game with any of the initially available Digimon will unlock that Digimon's Digivolved form in all Modes other than Single-Player Mode. In this case, the Finisher cannot be used until the Digivolution Gauge is full, but the Digimon will not De-Digivolve after using it.

There are also other Digimon to unlock, such as Black-WarGreymon, Reapermon and Omnimon, plus another...

Please Note, I am rating this Game based on other Fighting type Games. It is in no way related to the Digimon World RPGs, so I cannot compare it to that series.

Digimon : Rumble Arena is truely for the younger age groups. The Graphics are choppy, and the Music is very corny. There is no story, in fact, you have no idea why you are even fighting, other than to kick another persons Digi-butt. There is a Boss, but you have no idea who he is or why he is there. The only clues are in the begining CG which also doesn't have any point - other than you are supose to compete.

I cannot complain about everything though, which is why I gave it a 2 instead of a 1 or 0. Fighting "as" your favorite popular Digimon, instead of barking out orders, is pretty cool. The creators had a good idea with that, and I think if they have another version someday it could be much better. I must say though, the Digivolution is way off, Rookies going to Mega, and some Rookies going to Champion is too...

THE GOOD:
A very fun game to play that will entertain you for months, fun to play with a friend(or enemy), lots of characters

THE BAD:
Once you beat it, there arent many other goals to play for, not all characters are there, japanese music was better

SUMMARY:
Digimon Rumble Arena is a very fun game, and a must have if you have a PS1 or PS2.
The game, as you must have guessed, is about cute, fierce monsters fighting other cute, fierce monsters. But these arent nay monsters, they are digimon!
The game has has addictive action, fun mini-games and the best characters you can dream of. The fighting type is great and theres lots of tricks you can use against your opponent. The only bad thing about it is that it doesnt have some characters and after beating the game a couple hundred times, it gets repetitive.
If you have a playstation system, buy this game!

THE GOOD:
It has o.k. graphics and character options and moves things like that.

THE BAD:
The game is just way to short. It only takes like 7 minutes to beat the game. There could maybe be a surrounding world too. Maybe even some more levels.

SUMMARY:
The character lining up was good, but there could have been some work with their moves. What I mean is there could have also been detail in the Digimon. The backgrounds and levels looked to much like the Digimon and made them blend in way to much. I could probably rate a N64 game better than this. Bandai might want to release more things for promoting Digimon because the popularity is going down dramatically. It's pretty sad how this game was doing good from before, but now its just not worth playing because of how it is.

This Game has very good Digimon Choices ,moves and Graphics. Plus,the mini games are very fun to play.
They have some of the voices of the main characters for season 1-3 This is a great arcade like game.It don't take alot of time to load.

THE BAD:
The game was way to easy and short.There were not enough Digimon or Mini Games.The levels did not look great,the had bad graphics.Reapermon seemed very easy to beat not matter which digimon i used in hard mode.The level were not as good as the graphics.I wish there was a speacial edition of the game

The game is basicly a fighting game where you press alot of button to attack.This game has the digimon from Season 1-3 digimon and moves.You can put in codes to get special digimon and other stuff. I would have to rate this game 2 out of 5.

the only good thng about this game is the charicter options. The graphics were so bad i couldn't tell my digimon from a rock that was nearby. It took me like ten minuets to beat. THE GOOD:
It was a good game in fact even with Imperialdramon PM, Impmon, and Beelzemon Blast Mode in the game.

THE BAD:
It was too easy. You even can't use any Megas except for Reapermon, Omnimon, Imperialdramon PM, and Beelzemon Blast Mode. It needs more bonus stages other than 3.

SUMMARY:
It has very good graphics, bonus stages, and stages. But the game might have a few problems by freezing up when your in the 1p mode waiting for your opponent to load and set the stage. It needs more hazards to make the game more challenging with alot of items in hard to reach places. It needs champions, ultimates, and more Megas to be more compatible. The game itself should have let you play any kind of digimons not just rookies by itself along with a few Megas. It shouldn't have passwords in it so then it would become really hard and challenging and maybe getting more points to your score. There should have been at least 12...
