Please Note, I am Rating this Game differently than the Digimon World Games, as it is not anything like those. I am Rating it based on all virtual Card Games.
This is the most EXCELLENT Card based Game I have EVER played! I actually gave it a 5, which I rarely ever do! Okay, the graphics are pretty good, but its got a Story Book kind of feel, as you do not roam at all. You just choose options. Listen though. Untill you get into the actual Card Battles, which is the main point of the Game, you wont realise its true excellence.
The Battles are all strategy and knowledge of how the various Cards work, of course, and even though it may seem complicated at first, trust me, once you get the hang of it it goes by really fast. Quick paced Battles and fait of luck makes it pretty fun and adicting in itself, but once you see the fully animated 3D fighting take place - it will blow your mind! Every Digimon has 3 unique Attacks to view, and they are all based on what they do on the TV shows. This is one of those Games you will play over and over, just to be able to whatch the Battles happen.
Now, there is a Story to the Game, otherwise there would be no purpose. The Story is backwards, because you end up fighting Season 2 Characters such as "Digimon Emperor" first, and afterwards fight Season 1 popular enemies, such as "The Dark Masters" and Myotismon. In any case, there will be plenty of oponents for you to Battle, enemy or friend, and it requires no knowledge of Digimon what so ever, nor any "Training".
Partner Cards may be considered a slight RPG twist, as your Partner Cards do gain experience and new abilities as they Level Up, but it still isn't the same as "Training".
Card Fusion Shops and Wizardmon Spells enable you to gain more Digimon and Option Cards. Also, after winning a Battle (2 out of 3) you will also gain Cards. Collecting as many as you can to make useful Decks whose Cards work together - is the key to getting far into the Game. Very, very, very fun Game. I don't care if you hate Card Battles! Once you play this, you wont any longer. |

It can be slightly frustrating at times. SUMMARY:
So close to being a 5...I took .1 off the score because of its slight chance of frustration...but it still rules! |

THE GOOD:
It has good sound, good graphics, 3D images, double player card battle, trading with other players and need many concentration. It's CHEAP to buy. I bought it at about 1.50 Maltese Liri ($2) Yeah that CHEAP and also a good game. If you want to collect all cards and want to be the BEST TAMER ever in Digital World you have to play it for about 100 hours!!! COOLTHE BAD:
The bad is that you cannot trade from the beginning of the game and has no Mega's. It needs more cities and opponents. You can finish the game at about 25 hours. but if you want to collect all cards and want to be the BEST TAMER ever in Digital World you have to play it for about 100 hours!!! COOL SUMMARY:
This game is so HOT that I play it about 6 hours everyday. This is one of the hottest games I have played this whole year. Some other users dislikes the game because they say it's too short, or it doesn't have enough weapons.... forget what they say, because the game is really HARD, and the weapons that you have access, you require some serious skill to get them and become a master. Only one opponent is very nasty and tricky to beat...A... that's his name...A... he is the toughest of all, but if you're good and well concentrated, you WIN. It's awesome and it's a good game and aslo helps you concentrate more!!! All I wish in this game is more cards, more opponents and trading at the beginning of the game!!! (This game is not suitable for those who can't thing well and also, if you are a hot tempered guy, don't play it or it will get you more hot than LAVA) Have an advice from a PLAYSTATION BOY expert...buy the game...it's really cool and you don't want to stop playing it!!! REALLY |

polygon battle sometimes last too long, but u can turn it off, however u may occasional want to watch your digimon kick some ass SUMMARY:
i love this game! for those who hate digimon, u suck, but can still injoy this work of art. the part of the game i like best is that the game is kinda a game of chance. it reminds me of rock paper sissors, but in a whole new perspective. the rock is like the powerhouse attack, sissors reminds me of a quick, presise attack, and the paper is the tricky spell kinda attack. each has it's own specailty. knowing which to pick and guessing which your opponent chooses makes this game unbareably exciting. u also use equip and power up card. this game is like gambling. very addictive! |

| this game is one cool game because you go its just a card game and i just a card game? not only is it that but is also on of the coolest games of the year. this game is cool because you send out cards and they turn it to real things and the weak get destroy and the strong go on. the game would be different if no real monsters in it and just to let you no this is the best game ever. |
