THE BAD:
YOU CAN'T TRANSFORM THEM INTO SUPER-SAIYANS, CAN'T SOMEONE MAKE A DBZ/GT GAME WHERE YOU CAN START OUT NORMAL AND TRANSFORM THEM INTO SUPER-SAIYANS DURING THE GAME? THAT WOULD BE THE TIGHTEST GAME EVER!!!!

Another DBZ game for the PSX that could have been way better than it turned out.

The graphics are okay but could have been better, the sound is cool and there is a good variety of characters. I suggest you get this game, but only if you already own Final Bout.

Top game, worth your money if you can find a copy, as it is an import you will be hard pushed to find one.

THE BAD:
hmm... The graphics kinda suk, but that is about all.

SUMMARY:
The story mode needs some work. You should get to go on quests and stuff. But if u like DragonBallZ at all you should go buy this game. The fun factor is great, but dont play it like every secend every day or you will get REALLY bored of it soon. Last problem is when you are playing your friend the computer controls your other guys. It really sucks!!!! But anyway go buy this game casue i bet you will LOVE it if u love DBZ

Graphics aren't terrible, but could have been better( Final Bout graphics would be best, But at least UB22)

First of all, to fully appreciate this critique you have to know a little bit about me. I LOOOOOOOOOOVE DB,DBZ,DBGT. Therefore I expect the best from a DB video game, and I will not hesitate to point out the flaws with this came. Be that as it may...

Graphics (3): Legends' graphics are the worst part of the game, that is not to say that they are unbearable, far from it. They do what they set out to do. All of the characters and they movements are clearly recongnizable, but they are small, blocky, and none-too-detailed. BUT think about the fights in the series (I'll wait...), are the fights usually very large on the TV screen? NO. Their always little sprites in the air performing combos, teleporting this way and that, and layin down the boom. Same in the game. So, don't be exdpectin no Marvel vs. Capcom graphics, cuz it ain't gonna happen.*sniffle* The backgrounds aren't bad either, and the backgrounds in the nameks stages are pretty good.

Sound (5): BELLISIMA!!! You can't ask for better sound. All the voices from the original Japenese series are hear and clear as ever, the Explosions will have you duckin for cover, and the background music will inspire and envigorate you. (too far?) No, seriously they are very good, better than UB22 and Final Bout.

Gamplay(5): If your tired of the same old fighting games, 2D or 3D, you will be pleased with this system. They are different, but not difficult. The Power up, block, ki blast, and punch/kick work similar to UB22 and Final Bout, but its the advance/retreat (directional buttons) that are revolutionary. This is the best gamplay of any Dragonball game, because it really captures the feel of the series. But even better than the controls is the actual game setup. You can have up three controllable characters on the screen AT ONE TIME!!!!! You can also fight up to three characters at one time, making for a grand total of 6 Characters on the screen (now you see the reason for makin them so small). The way to kill an oppenent is very loyal to the series as well. It is operated on a tug-o-war system, which when filled up in your favor, allows you to preform a meteo attack, which in most cases are spectacular, (especially SSJ3 Goku's Kamehameha!) It usually takes 3 meteos to kill an opponent but it varies on who your playing with and against(another thing that is faithful to the series).

REPLAY (5): What makes a game good for replay value? Challenge, no? This game has it for you. You know how you can beat a game but not really? Well in Legends to be the game completely you must get a 100% after each level. How you do that is by following as close as you can to the series, and performing a specific number of combos in each level, which gets incresingly difficult as the game progresses. This alone will have you up 4:00 in the morning wired like a crack fiend, but that's not all my friends, that's not all. After you beat the game once, another option comes up on the main screen, SP battles. These are battles where the computer picks all the caracters, and you have to fight against the computer with the caracters you are given, the catch is, you have to win under a certain amount of time. There are around 30 of the battles, which is cool because it gives you a chance to see all the characters' meteos. Haven't ordered this game on ebay yet? Well to top it off you have 1p vs 2p, 1p vs Com, and *gasp* com vs com( so you can sit back and watch long-fantisized brawls). What more can you ask for?

Overall (4.7 and I'm picky): Absolutlely the best DB Playstation game, and I will be so bold as to say ever. If your thinkin about gettin an import this is the one for you. So go. Go get it. I SAID GO!! ARE STILL READING THIS?????? WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM GET ONTO EBAY!!!! GO!!! GET OUT OF HERE!! NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE BAD:
Poor controls and too much 2-D for me.

SUMMARY:
This game has a wide range of charactors such as Goku and his friends and most of the Villans. It also has most of the forms for most of the charactors. The controls are hard to pick up and to win alot of battles you need to be quite experianced so you need to work your way up. The only problem is that its in Japenese but who cares what language its in if its a good fighting game. The finishing moves are very much like on T.V but the grapics are quite poor but no game is perfect.

Enjoy this game I know I have.

This game is great the controls are easy to understand back retreat foward head on.I love this game out of the 3 it has most characters makes more sense than DBGT Final Bout(Veggito in GT).Has more characters than Ultimate battle 22/27.Has a whopping 35 characters not including Vegeta SSJ2(non Majin) and Armor Mirai Trunks which can only be gotten on story.If your are a Die Hard DragonBall Z fan you should definitely get this.I lik this game I hope if you get it you will too.

THE BAD:
About everything

SUMMARY:
This is by far the worst game I've ever played in my entire life!

- The graphics suck
- When I want to fight a friend, the CPU is still controlling 4 fighters. I don't want the CPU to fight when I'm challenging a friend!
- The gameplay is horrible. When I push Up, the stupid fighter is going toward his enemy. I want you to fly (or at least jump)! And why does the fighter retreat from his enemy when you push Down? Pushing Down would be a logical button for crouching.
- The game's Japanese, I can't read it

I've only played this game for a short time now and the list of annoying features is already this big! Conclusion: DBZ Legends sucks!

There are no really bad things about this game.

SUMMARY:
A DBZ fan should buy this game. But if you don`t like games where you have to unlock almost everything you better not buy it. But buy ub22 (never buy Final Bout).
