THE GOOD: Enjoyable characters, classic cartoon racing style, secret vehicles and custom character mode.
THE BAD: Slightly stilted control.
SUMMARY: What fan of Super Mario Kart or Crash Team Racing wouldn't love the feel of this game? It's got all the hallmarks of a classic cartoon mini-cart racing title with the added bonus of being able to create your own custom racer. It's also a great addition to any Squaresoft fan's game library. Other than the fact that sometimes the speed is a little hard to control even with expert breaking and drifting skills, it's a fun game with likable characters and a very unique story mode that uses pop-up book style pictures to illustrate events. The title screen theme music may also be a little inane, but it's ignorable. Definitely a good buy in any case.
A very addictive, yet easy to beat game. The graphics aren't all that great, and the storyline is fairly poor. The hidden characters look hilarious *Especially the non animated Chocobo and Highwind* Probably around 1 or 2 hours to beat the first time, a few more to get the extra characters. The characters are cute, though. ;;
