Brave Fencer Musashi

THE GOOD:
They gameplay was very fun, the game is very cute and well err did I really say that? Anyways its like Zelda gone samurai.

THE BAD:
The story stinks and since the game is old so do the graphics.

SUMMARY:
This game is a weird one let me tell ya! This was made by the masters of rpg squaresoft who have brought us games like FF1-10 and Drakengard ect. But this game came along during before FF8 but after FF7/ This game is like squaresofts answer to Zelda the Ocarina of time on the Nintetndo 64......but with more rpg aspects to the game. The character is called Musashi who is this blue hair midget(ya gotta have blue hair!)who is the reincarnation of the great fencer Musashi. In the beggining of the game you start out with your sword fusion and is off to get the legendary sword Lumina. Through the course of the game you will find diffrent scrolls for the said Lumina of 5 elements, Fire, sky, earth, water and I...

THE GOOD:
Game Play, the battle system is like Zelda, the story is really good, I like the day time and night time living system, the battles were good as well, and the final boss was not peice of cake..:laughs:

THE BAD:

SUMMARY:
This is a really good game, I think it was one of the best action games on the psx, even though it was really an rpg...rpg adventure game....like Zelda, but not like Zelda, you were able to gain levels, the good, was the Battle system, you gain exp. and you can steal abilitys from your enemys with your sword...the big one, not the katana, the time zone was a nice addtion to this game, when you can turn from day to night, that is pretty cool, well unless you are in need of the shop...they are closed at night....the boss was no peice of cake and I mean it, he wasn;t to hard but wasn't easy, he was sorta moderate...but the only bad thing about this game is the graphics, made...

THE GOOD:
Not that bad fighting and was innovative in it's own way.

THE BAD:
Story was poorly written, the music was not enjoyable, and the gameplay lacked in many areas.

SUMMARY:
When I first got this game I didn't expect much and guess what I didn't get much. This game lacked in many departments. For one it's story (which is the most important in any game) was not very good. Second I found the characters voices very annoying. I really would not recommend this game to anyone.

A linear "RPG" with no real role to play. The game can only be saved at certain times and, while that is not usually a problem, it is a pain in the ass on the final level. You have to fight FOUR bosses in a row with a limited number of healing objects. Once the objects are used up, they are GONE, even if you die and have to start over. What fun is that?
