THE GOOD: the price: nine bucks for kick ass multiplayer funTHE BAD: the crappy one player mode SUMMARY: I got this game for 9 bucks, and played around with the one player mode to find that it sucks, I mean really sucks. Then, I played the multiplayer mode and found that it was totally addicting. I fell in love with the battle mode, the awesome graphics and the total fun--It was a party hit. THis was the reason why I got a Multi-Tap. THis game lasted forever--after two years, I still play it--but the one player mode is totally throw away. I would only buy this game if you had a lot of friends or brother, and you should really get a multitap, it makes the game more fun. The one player mode is trash--50 levels that suck, but the battle mode definetly makes up for that. THis game rules. |

Bomberman Party Edition Review | 3.2 0 comments |

THE GOOD: Great multiplayer game, advanced mode characters are awesomeTHE BAD: Insanely long load times, single player mode is a bust, some stages are boring and/or annoying SUMMARY: This game is great if you have a multitap and a couple friends over for some classic bomberman action. The game doesn't stray far from the basic premise of bomberman games but what little that has been added only makes it better. Although multiplayer is fun you will soon grow tired from single player mode from its utter repetitiveness and complete lack of fun. There are three different types of multiplayer modes, each mode has different characters and stages and the modes are separated by skill level. The higher the skill level, the more features added to the game.
This game provides lots of classic fun but like the title suggests, this is the type of game you'd only find yourself playing if you had some friends over so it's probably nothing more than a rental. |

THE GOOD: Awesome graphics, neat characters and stages.THE BAD: Nothing I could think of here. SUMMARY: This game is awesome, all it needs is a little more challenge. It also could have had a little more fun in it, but other than that, this game is perfect. This game has cool characters, neat stages and neat graphics too. I would recommend this game to anybody who has played past Bomberman games before. |

THE GOOD: Plays, just like the other Bomberman games (Except for the Nintendo 64). Colorful, detailed, animated graphics. A whole lot of levels (50 in normal mode). Very fun, addictive. Lot of options, and game modes. Good music. Interactive levels. Nice framerate! Many characters. Cool intro! Easy controls. Nice price as well!THE BAD: Voices might get on your nerves. Nothing new, still the same. Single player (Norma mode) is awfully repetetive. Somewhat long load time. SUMMARY: If you liked the other Bomberman games, this game belongs to you. This is the ultimate part game. Although normal mode (Kind of like quest mode) might get a bit repetetive, the Battle Mode is the best of the best. With a nice, smooth framrate, very well animated characters this game has it all. There are also many levels to keep you playing. And intro movie clip really pumps you up! Fans of the original, no doubt this belongs to you. Even if you never played Bomberman, you'll be into it in no time. And with the price this low, you won't regret it. Pick up this game, buy a multitap and start the destruction! |
