The Awesome 3rd Crash Game | 4.9 2 comments |
by thunder850 from , , | Feb 24, 2007 |
THE GOOD: Able to play as coco, cool vehicles, new relics, still able to obtain gems and crystals, fun levels, awesome graphics, very fun, and has a ton of nice details.THE BAD: Too easy bosses. SUMMARY: This is my second favorite Crash game. It has the extremely easy sapphires, very easy golds, and sometimes challenging platinums. You get to ride several animals/vehicles, such as Pura the Tiger, a baby Dinosaur, a jetski, a biplane, a spaceship in N. Gin's boss fight, etc. Unfortunately, all 5 of the bosses are way too easy. I beat each of them on at least my 3rd try. After you get each platinum, you can look online for developer times, and try to beat developer times. Hot coco and Eggipus Rex have way too easy platinums, and even the developer time on Eggipus Rex is easy. This is an awesome game, with awesome graphics. Level 19: Future Frenzy/level 21: Gone Tomorrow have the best of graphics, and the coolest of levels. Some new enemies are in this game, such as Dingodile, the half Dingo, half Crocodile, creation, the Nefarious tropy, a master of time, and Uka Uka, Aku Aku's evil twin. Uka Uka helps Dr. Neo Cortex defeat Crash Bandicoot, to get his revenge on Aku Aku from locking Uka Uka in a temple. it also has moves that you obtain by beating a boss. Altogether, this a very good game.

THE GOOD: Play as Coco! New Moves! More secret levels! Time Trial! Best graphics yet! More challenging bosses! New veichles! Just about everything elseTHE BAD: Coco doesn't have her own levels. Instead, you always ride something such as a jetski, tiger, or a biplane. SUMMARY: This game is da bomb! It is about Cortex's space station hurtling toward Earth. With a huge KA-BOOM, Uka Uka (Aku Aku's evil twin brother and Cortex's boss) is free at last! Uka Uka is very upset that Cortex has failed twice. He calls on his old buddy, Dr. Nefarious Tropy to travel all over time and get the crystals, gems, and relis in their original places. Now, it's up to Crash, Coco, and Aku Aku to obtain the cystals, gems, and relics before Cortex and Uka Uka do so. Can they do it? You bet your bandicoot they can! |

THE GOOD: Graphics are very good,it changed to good.Warp Room system is one of the greatest. Also, sounds and game skins are best. The best option is powers, powers are great!THE BAD: Boss system sucks, because sometimes bosses are really easy, sometimes they are really hard. And,getting Platinum Relics ia almost impossible. SUMMARY: Playing system has been evolved too much since Crash 1 and Crash 2.Game areas is much better than Crash 2.Everything is much better than Crash 1-2.
Also, you can play with Coco at some areas. She can do everything that Crash can't.It's good,of course.
The game's aim is collecting all crystals, gems and relics. If you collect all crystals, you will face with Dr.Neo Cortex for third time. This time,he got some help:Uka Uka,Dr.Neo Cortex's boss, the evil mask, and evil twin brother of Aku Aku.When Cortex' satellite is destroyed,Uka Uka awakes, and helps Dr.Neo Cortex(with N.Tropy).
There are five bosses in this game:Tiny Tiger,Dingodile,N.Tropy,N.Gin,and Dr.Neo Cortex.Dingodile and N.Tropy are totally new characters.
The biggest evolution is Time Relics. You can collect Time Relics at each level(except bosses). There are three kinds of Relics:Sapphire,Gold, and Platinum.
As I said,it's the mose greatest Crash Bandicoot game since I have ever had.I liked it,and I think you will like it,of course. |

THE GOOD: This game has challenging levels, along with challenging bosses. The relic ssection of each level adds a whole other facet to this already complex game. The scenery really does fit each era perfectly.THE BAD: A couple of the levels are overly confusing, or just generally difficult altogether. Most of the platinum relics are nearly impossible to obtain, while the gold relics are very challenging to get in and of themselves. (-.2) SUMMARY: The gameplay is challenging, which makes it quite enjoyable. The bosses, especially, pose five excellent matches for you. The introduction of new characters was a bit of a treat, but the return of the good "oldies" was also good. However, I deducted .2 points because of the difficulty of obtaining certain relics, especially the platinum ones. Also, certain levels are somewhat too difficult, such as "Mad Bombers."
TOTAL DEDUCTION= -.2 FINAL SCORE= 4.8 EXCELLENT GAME

THE GOOD: great action. good music too. this game has gone where no game has gone before: it contains no misty fog that is generally used to hide pixel count. it make it really less- hard on the eye.THE BAD: it's really hard. other than that it's all good. SUMMARY: crash bandicoot 3 is, yes, the third installment to the crash bandicoot series. little do we know that in the next 3 years the amount of crash games would double- and some for handheld systems. anyways, this one is for the PSX series, and it gives it a good name. the graphics for warped! are really good. anyway, heres the storyline:
crash and his friends muka, coco(actually his sister) and pura are chillin on their island when a satellite crashes down to earth. in it, is demon mask that will take over the space and time continueum. or something. crash must now use the warp bubbles to go back in time to pop-culture places such as afganistan(i think) the great wall of china, the lost city of atlantis egyptian catacombs, and more. he must secure the cool stones and the ancient relics. all along the way are bosses such as: Dr. N.Gin, dingodile(my fav!), and N. Cortex. the level names are silly and stupid like "bug lite" "under pressure" and, others... too. but its all in good taste, or not. anyway, i gave crash bandicoot Warped! for playstation a 4.7 because it is fun but difficult as he....ck. it will take oyu like a year to complete this game, bare minimum. but i managed to beat it many times. crash bandicoot 3 is rated T for teen.

THE GOOD: The enemies are very cool and the levels are prehistoric, arabian, egyptian, and futuristic. Also there's the coolest villains ever: Dr. Neo Cortex, Tiny the Tiger, Dr. N. Gin., Dingodile, Uka Uka, and Dr. N. (Nefarious) Tropy.THE BAD: nothing... SUMMARY: I think it's cool that you get a power when you defeat a boss, their awesome, especially the bazooka. I mean how cool is it that you can shoot crates and enemies from a distance? I like to use the bazooka on the two-headed men from Level 15 "Double Header", so I can jump on them like a trampoline! Anyway, the hardest enemy I've encountered was the rocket android from Level 21 "Gone Tomorrow". This is even the best video game I've played ever. I hope they'll make a new game sooner or later...P.S. I can't wait for Crash Purple: Ripto's Rampage to come,. It has the Spyro and Crash characters in 1 game. Oh, and if you see Kevin Michael Richardson, the guy who plays Crunch, tell the Warped Bandicoot said "Hi!". (I'm sorry about the 3 copies.) |
