Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon

THE BAD:
Some may say that some of the mini games are too easy from the last 2 games, but they do range dramatically in difficulty. I started playing Spyro 3 first, and I enjoyed the game so much I obtained Spyro 2, which I felt would be far too complicated to complete so easily if I had started with no experience. Spyro 3 just has it all. A personal downfall of Spyro 3 for me is introducing back the speedways, but least you get an egg for completing the challenges. Theres also a dreaded glitch on these speedway levels, but on the newer copies of Spyro it has been fixed.

SUMMARY:
For once, Spyro has a foe to be reckoned with. Sure, Ripto and Gnasty Gnorc were evil, but the Sorceress is more cunning, and not so stupid. In the final levels shes more challenging to defeat, but what some dont know is that you'll face her again..
Collecting the baby dragons were fun to do as they were all induvidual and they hatched with different actions. Something worthwhile to collect and complete all the levels for, rather than a few shiny orbs.
I enjoyed the variety of tasks that Spyro was challenged with, such as controlling submarines, powerboat and even a manta ray. Spyros allies in the Forgotten Worlds are also worthwhile to release as they have amusing lines to say and its fun controlling them (its also worth watching them take their revenge on Moneybags, something all Spyro fans would LOVE to have seen).
I have plenty more to say, but lets just come to conclusion that Spyro 3, is the most sucessful Spyro release to date.

THE BAD:

Spyro: Year of the Dragon is the best Spyro game yet. Every 12 years, the Dragon Kingdom makes a bunch of dragon eggs. When the dragons were sleeping, an evil Sorceress tells her servant, Bianca to snatch the eggs. Now, it is up to Spyro and his buddies to retrive the dragon eggs and kill the Sorceress once and for all! Anyway, this game is also the most challenging so far. Also, Skill Points return. This time, instead of just a sound, a confirmation on screen tells you that you got one. You will also get to play as Shelia the Kangaroo, Sgt. Byrd the penguin, Bentley the yeti, and even Agent 9 the monkey. Explore over 30 places to find the eggs. I just think this game is GREAT. Don't rent it, buy it!

THE BAD:
The difficulity and the music plus that speedway glich and those bosses.

SUMMARY:
Spyro 3 year of the dragon rocked man the grapics were top noch and those back grounds that spyro games have were da bomb with new ones and some of the first ever backgrounds used.Unfortuneatly the music was not so da bomb.The game is glich free [almost].

The levels are great with first time task portals so eggs can be gained.The bosses were fun and you can play as 7 characters.thay are spyro,sparx,hunter,sheila,sgt.byrd,bently and agent 9.

so I give spyro 3 the year of the dragon 5.0/5.0 so its da bomb.

THE BAD:
Not a single part of this game is bad. Except of course if you count the guys that are supposed to be bad AKA "The bad guys."

SUMMARY:
Graphics great, lots of adventure, very addictive, I couldn't put the controller down. If you haven't tried it you should! I don't care what anyone says about this game, unless... of... course... they say it rocks!This game isn't very easy, like a lot of people think, so all of you people that think this game isn't for them give it a try then see how you like it!

well, at last we come to the 3rd installment to the spyro games. this game is a lot like the last two gaems, but feature all these new charactors that were never seen before. like sergeant byrd, who's a penguin who can shoot rockets from guns on his shoulders, and sheila the kangaroo who can jump really high up and can kick-box. aslo, you can play as sparx in this game, which is really cool in my opinion. all these new charactors are why i named this review "three's got company". see, i don't just randomly name my reviews. and a don't like that show very much.

at the beginning of this game, spyro is relaxing in the dragon realm, right after the big festival of the year of the dragon was over, and all these dragon eggs are lying around. then, a cloaked figure steals them. so spyro must track dowm who it was.

anyways, this is a great game, but i only recommend it for spyro fans such as myself, as there are inside jokes in it that some players just may not get. and yes, i know that was a line from a previous review. my reviews are all pretty similar, get used to it. i rated this game 4.9 out of 5 for being cool. why did i take off a point? honestly, because i have too may reviews that are perfect tens. so for all you spyro fanantics like myself: play this game, you wont regret it. peace out.

Spyro: year of the dragon is definatly worth buying. It has great effects and it is great fun to play, you can always come back and try and beat those little challenges that you never got round to finishing! (I give it 4.9 out of 5, 'cause nothing is perfect!)

Spyro year of the dragon is the best Spyro I have ever played! (I have all 3 for the ps1) Our little cuddly hero is back, and this time he's brought some friends to help, a high-jumping Kangaroo, a flying penguin, a well-mannered Yeti, a crazy lab monkey armed with a laser and now you can even play as Spyro's best buddy, Sparx! An evil soceress has captured the dragon eggs in order to restore magic in the world, so that she can have more power and reign the planet! Is Spyro going to let her? NO! Guide Spyro and his friends through huge colourful worlds to kick Rhynoc BUTT! The bosses are great, not too wussy that only take 3 hits, and not too frustrating that takes ages to beat! Its an excellent game, one of my favourites for the playstation. Dragons rule, and you know it!! Try this game out!

THE BAD:
The camera is bad at times when you go around a corner the camera stays on the other side of the wall and you can't see yourself and it will hurt you if there is an enemy on the other side of it. You don't get any special ability like super fireballs like you did on Spyro 2.

SUMMARY:
This game is worth getting with plenty of things to do. This game will keep you playing for months trying to finish it. This time around you can control Hunter on some of the special levels were you get to blow up UFO's that have cows in them very weird. But overall i think this game is worth getting.

THE BAD:
That you have to have x.amount of eggs and Jewles to unlock the super bonus worlds

This is the best of the best game there is on the playstation I think that this games chalenges are really challenging not like the 1st one I think that is you dont have this game you need to get it!!!!! and if you need a code or help with ANYTHING ask me I can give you codes and all kinds of help just E~mail me!!!
