Sony London did a great job on this game. They went up against Fifa, and Winning 11 and did a great job. This game takes soccer and puts a new twist on it, different game modes such as Shot Clock and Time Attack. And brings different game play from playing Fifa all the time. Which brings me to the difficulty level, this is probably one of the worst features in the game. From one challenge to the other, you can feel the difficulty level get really hard. Its like from one game, its easy, then the next game it takes 5 trys to beat it. I'm not a big sports fan, but this game pulled me in. Its got a arcade feel too it, while still maintaining realistic controls. This is not the game for the hardcore enthusiast, but more like the casual gamer. Just because this game doesn't offer much team control, but just picking where to put players, what shape to put them in, and who takes free kicks. You don't really pick where you want players because they are already in the best spot you can put them, unless you spend a lot of time reading their stats. Now, the graphics are smooth, until the cut scenes. The same cut scenes play over and over again, and the players seem emotionless when you look at them. Other then that, the game has decent graphics. The controls are responsive, and are in a good layout for the PSP. The players are easy to control, and are realistic, like I said before. You can't go through without passing the ball once or twice. Overall, Sony London did a great job in creating the game with their limited resources and trying to go up against huge games such as Fifa. This is a great game to play for a while, or for a short period of time. This game is worth the money, and will provide hours of entertainment without getting dull. Plenty of levels to beat. Other then the emotionless players, and the difficulty problems, this game gets a high score. |
