I only got this game with 3 other games to play when I am on holiday though to be honest I have focused all my time in this one as I been loving it to much. The great things that have made me do this is because I am still finding the game a challenge even onto the Playstation Portable format, and the makes things great everything still reminds me of how much I enjoy the PES titles.
Within the game itself it resembles the Playstation 2 format of the game in so many ways, the layout to the design and control of players onto the pitch. Even with the amount of players in the game, somewhat 1400 players and over 130 teams which offer you the great range with high detail for the players and pitch and for me even improve detail on the goal in which the Playstation Portable title could offer you that the Playstation 2 titles has always done.
To go into the graphics more, detail towards the players mainly are of a good quality and you can easily tell which player is who, as for pitch detail there is only one stadium on the game but this is not to any fault, I myself like playing on the one pitch and this dose not bother me, though the detail in design towards that stadium is reasonably good with some great scenes leading up to important matches. When going into detail of teams, once you have imported your Playstation 2 Option File onto you Playstation Portable game, hopefully full with fully edited teams and correct data the game kits being on of the changes look reasonably basic but are representing the kits to a great detail though they do miss out teams sponsors.
Addition things also in the game are all the game modes, especially Master League mode which has been modified for this system to now have 3 leagues and have your team starting at the bottom and having to work up 2 leagues instead of one before being up the top. I personally found this good as it made everything even harder for myself. More features within the Master League, they have got rid of the Development of the Players, and just stick with players never ageing, to be honest I was disappointed to see this but for a handheld product what do you expect, and also they have gotten rid of the Division Cups which to be honest it a even bigger let down as you have now less chance to gain money and less cups to try and win whilst playing on the title. The transfer mode and everything is set by what you like it to be, easy or hard to be able to gain players that you want and he transfers market is just as easy to use. All other features in the games, as league and tournaments are the same as before.
The PES Shop was something I noticed whilst playing, though like before it was in the previous titles of the game I swear without checking that this is offering even more players old and new that you can purchases and for me this was a great addition in what they could offer to the game, just smaller things like this to make you play even longer to get the player that you want.
As you should know some titles on the Playstation Portable will have missing features in order for it to work at a reasonable speed and pace, PE6 is no exception. In order to do this they have missed out showing you replays at half time though do show you them after shots itself, which was a great feature for me to still see was in this title. In exchange to this there has been some redesigned products in the game which to me, shooting is the best one out of them as it is now making it a bit more easier to shoot though there was no problem before, and don’t worrie it isn’t as easy now as the Fifa products are.
In all games though there has to be some bad notes, no matter how much I try and say this title is the best Football game on the console it dose have major faults and this comes in the line of how long you have you have to wait (say 30secs - 1 minuet) whilst the match mode is loading, though once in the match it flows at a fast pace through out which is good. It also dose jam now and then but recovers all the time, so the game whilst looking around may take a little longer for the data to load, but to be honest what else can you expect with all the data added onto this game. Also another problem I found with the game, may bother others... Me not as much but was the noise that the console now made whilst the title was loading, and whilst in match mode it took a good bit of hammering, but if you don’t mind it making noise then there should be no problem.
Also in match mode I did find it a little hard to use the controls, ever now and then I slide tackle and it has changed player and they tackle and I completely miss the player, something like that you just have to adjust to and get use to if it dose happen but it is not a often effect to happen on you.
Though from reading this I hope it has helped you, I would like to add this for me is the best Football title on this system though PE7 will be an even better title to get when it comes out. |
