Gameplay
The gloomy setting, strange town and people are back in this game The Sims 2 in playstation portable. This game wouldn't be an exception to the fact that most of the Sims game is an RPG. This game centers on living a stable life in a strange town, meeting new friends and acquaintaces, even meeting the boy/girl of your dreams. Different jobs are available to earn money so that you could buy stuffs to design your large house, buy clothes, buy expensive furniture and to keep your sanity meter. The sanity meter is important, you could raise that meter by doing what you aspire. Unlike other sim game that has divided meters for sleeping, eating, comfort, entertainment and socializing, this game targets what you really aspire. Of course you still have to do the everyday activities of a normal person, if you don't it will cost you your sanity meter being low. Examples of different aspirations are cooking, planting, watching a certain t.v. program, buying...

THE GOOD:
Fun, amusing, nice way to play the Sims on a handheld. Good graphics, fun mini-games and decent audio.

THE BAD:
Horrible loading, way too short, no replay value whatsoever, can't speed up time.

SUMMARY:
Is your life boring? Do your parents nag you? Does your lover not please you? Does your boss just plain piss you off? Well, sorry, tough luck. But why not play The Sims 2 and escape it all! Once again, EA offers a fun Sims game to play which lets you micromanage your character's life to make up for the boring life you actually lead!

Story
You take the role of your very own Sim. This poor soul had the misfortune of having their car break down in Strangetown, however. Once this happen the story keeps rolling from there. You spend most of the game helping people while trying to foil the plans of a crazy super villain who seems to be pulling the strings everywhere. Amazingly though, the story is pretty interesting....

THE GOOD:
The new 3D experience gives you a close-up, wide view of the entire neighborhood and Strangetown. Many features have been added in an attempt to enhance The Sims 2 experience.

THE BAD:
The Sims 2 for PSP suffers from major technical issues such as continous loading and unable to save your game because of the main menu screens not functioning properly at some points. This disappointment takes away the enjoyment of the new features implemented.

SUMMARY:
Don't let the graphics and new features fool you. The Sims 2 for PSP has its major positives and negatives. If I had a scale for Positives and Negatives, the Negative side will most likely outweigh the Positives. You have to think again if you choose to buy this game for this platform. If you own any other platforms like the Playstation 2, Xbox, GameCube, or PC, then I absolutely recommend getting this game for one of those.

The storyline of The Sims 2 is a very interesting one,...
