Background

Long ago, a war of apocalyptic proportion known as Ragnarok occurred between the gods of Asgard and demons of Utgard, pushing the world into a state of pure chaos. Asgard, being greatly overrun by the presence of the demonic war bringers, was on the brink of destruction. Through the sacrifice of their own lives, the gods created the entities which would be known as the Grim Angels, who then brought an end to the war.

A thousand years have passed since that time, and signs of the return of the demons have perpetuated the land of Asgard into a state of fear once more.
