MLB 08: The Show

"Baseball never seemed like a fun sport for me, but MLB 08 The Show is making me think otherwise. Although a few minor issues with the camera and player interaction were apparent, this game has definitely sparked my interested in the baseball genre of video games."

Thanks to the inclusion of pitcher/batter tools and P.B.P. system, as well as the inclusion of in-game saves and My MLB Music, MLB '08: The Show is a much stronger title on the PSP. While the framerate drop from last year has been resolved, the camera angles and some gameplay issues hold the game back from being truly excellent. Perhaps next year, these problems will be addressed, along with PS3/PSP connectivity and rivalry mode...
