"...when it works, it’s a solid, if unremarkable, piece of entertainment. Unfortunately, when it’s bad, it’s a detestable hell spawn of frustration and misery. Thankfully, it’s largely the on-foot sections where things go completely tits-up and the worst offenders account for a relatively small portion of the game. So then, anyone that really, really liked Sony’s two The Getaway titles can probably forgive Gangs of London's sins too. Everyone else should probably give this one a wide berth – or pay an actual visit to London."
