Background
The Emperor of Palamecia has sold his soul to evil and begun his campaign for world conquest! Escaping from the now taken over town of Fynn, Firion, Maria, Guy, and Leon, orphaned during the attack, find themselves caught by a group of Black Knights. As Firion awakens, he is rejoined by Maria and Guy, but Leon is no where to be seen...Joining the Rebel forces, the three head out to stop the Empire and get revenge! Remastered with new and enhanced graphics, remixed music, the CG cutscenes from the PSX remake, the "Soul of Rebirth" quest from the GBA remake, and it's own new dungeons, Final Fantasy II: Anniversary Edition is by far the best remake of Final Fantasy II!
