: : : : : Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare
You put your plants on one side and then the zombies on the other and Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is what happens. It starts innocently enough, with zombies trying to eat some poor sap's brains. Then suddenly the plants get protective of their humans and fight back against the zombies. Then the zombies start wearing cones and, whoa, does that one have a machine gun? Oh, they're only paintballs. This is getting way out of hand.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is a third-person multiplayer shooter with tower-defense elements inspired by the original Plants vs. Zombies titles. It embraces the absurd and also several mechanics directly inspired by free-to-play games. Basically, the more you play, the better chance players have of getting better loot for their plants or zombies.

Each side, plants and zombies, is broken up into several classes. While each side is different, they still boil down to the same basic concepts: healers, tanks, snipers, assault and then an oddball class. A player picks just one class and then can unlock new powers for them as they play, followed by additional weapons and then finally just random skins that can make a cactus look like anything but.

It's all the personality of a PopCap game turned into a casual shooter for all ages. Mostly.
