Sega Rally Revo

The technology behind Sega Rally Revo is undeniably impressive and the driving is a good bit of arcade fun, but the game's staying power is highly questionable.

Gamers looking for a great arcade racing experience this holiday season should get in the seat of Sega Rally Revo. It has enough to keep any committed racing fan coming back for a good couple of months. Some may argue that the gameplay is dated and the lack of options is overly restrictive. Fair enough, stick to Gran Turismo. Everyone else should race, have fun, and enjoy the rally.

SEGA Rally Revo is a game made for perfectionists. Working your way through the single player game is a great challenge as you race against ever increasing competition. The gameplay is great and it looks like the visual representation of "happy," but it may not be for everyone as we've been spoiled by racing game after racing game that keep upping the ante in variety and presentation. By any measure, it has solid racing mechanics. But then, variety is the spice of life and this title could use a bit more.

"If racers like DiRT and Motorstorm got mud under your nails, then Sega Rally Revo will submerge you with it, because this has got to be the most mud-soaked game yet."
