BackgroundCalling All Cars is a high-octane, cops n' robbers multiplayer, action/party game. Players will take the role of a bounty hunter careening around a stylish cartoon world on the hunt for criminals on the loose and attempt to apprehend criminals and toss them back in the slammer before other bounty hunters can steal them and collect the reward money. With a combination of demolition derby gameplay, crazy weapon pickups, humor and a healthy throwback to classic arcade and sports games, Calling All Cars is sure to be a crazy online party experience for PS3.
GameplayThe goal of the game is to capture a criminal who has escaped from jail and bring him back to justice. The player is in control of a fast car which runs around the chosen location having to compete with other crime-fighting vehicles with the same objective. The driver must not only catch and deliver the robber, but also watch out for opponents trying to steal the prey. To block them or to regain the stolen delivery, the player can use speed bursts and weapons found under question marks disseminated randomly along the way. To complete the level successfully, the player must score more points than the opponents. (Different prison entrances give different scores depending on difficulty in delivery). The time limit for each level is 5 minutes. When a criminal is brought to justice before the time limit, a new one will escape from prison replacing the former, allowing the game to go on. Successfully completing the levels, the player is rewarded with money and can unlock new vehicles.
