Viewtiful Joe 2

THE GOOD:
Viewtiful Joe 2 is much like the first one, only its better. The same 2d/3d graphics and gameplay return again, which is really a good thing. The puzzles are here as well, but only, I didnt really find them to be that hard to figure out, after playing the first installment of the VJ series. Basically, its just much more of the same (the first one), and its better, so theres not much else to say. You can also gain the ability to switch characters.

THE BAD:
Nothing was really bad about it. Some bosses were too easy though, and that ruined the fun of the game at select times.

SUMMARY:
Overall, its a great game. Basically its the same thing as the first one, only it beats the crap outta VJ1 when it comes to all aspects, cuz its just so much better. Like in the original the graphics suck.

Dante isn't playable in this one.

I would say this game is equally as good as the original. If they made the graphics better and had Dante playable again then it would be even better.

You get to switch from 2 different characters in every round and they are Joe and Silvia. Since you get to choose a difficulty this game offers some replay value. I reccomend this game to anyone who likes beatem up games or anyone who is looking for a challenge because this is a challenging game. People who liked the first Viewtiful Joe should'nt get dissapointed by this game.

THE GOOD:
This game gets practically everything right. The characters are all very interesting and the art style is top-notch. the phrase Heshin a go go baby! congrats capcom!

THE BAD:
the only bad thing I can think of are some of the puzzles are really difficult and frustrating. The beggining of the game gives away some of the first's ending.

SUMMARY:
This is obviously the 2nd in the series of viewtiful joe's. If you are having any second thoughts about buying this game, get it any way. everybody should love it! the only warning is it is directed towards the more hardcore gamer meaning it is not going to be beat in a day. In fact I urge everyone that doesn't already own both games to go out and buy them both. the first one didn't get the respect it so highly deserved for gamecube game of the year.
