I rented this game today and I must say this game is better than I expected it to be. This is the best beatem up game on the Playstation 2 well that is if until I play Viewtiful Joe 2 which could be better. Viewtiful Joe 2 is going to be my next rental. In this game you play as a superhero named Joe to beat up the bad guys. It's pretty cool to do especially in slow or fast motion.

If you like beatem up games then this game shouldn't dissapoint you. I suggest you rent or buy this game as soon as possible. I don't know what else much to say. This game is just awesome and you should try it out for yourself.

Viewtiful Joe harkens back to those grand old days of 2D sprites and ninja-precision gameplay. You control The Joe of the title, sucked into the world of B-movies in search of Silvia, his kidnapped Sweetheart (The game even has an old-skool plotline). He achieves this end, not by stealthing around a military base, or roaming a sandbox-environment, "Living and breathing" cityscape, or even by 40+ hours worth of tedious levelling up and "Character developement", but rather by the simple convention of running and jumping across the screen, left to right, pasting the living daylights out of anything and everythin...
