Vietcong: Purple Haze is fine as a first-person shooter set in the '60's Vietman War. There has been quite few Vietnam games released lately. First Conflict: Vietnam, then Shellshock: Nam '67 and now we've got this.
Vietcong has you controlling a small squad through nineteen missions. You play as the leader himself and you also have more people like a pointman, a medic, a engineer, radio man and heavy weapons man. You need too use your men but some of them are pretty useless. The medic and the engineer are the most useful as they give you health and ammo. They actually make the whole game a bit more easier. The pointman is used to spot death traps and pits.
