Tribes: Aerial Assault

THE GOOD:

well i've never actually played the online version but from what i've been told it sucks.........

SUMMARY:
i love the vehicles the bomber is the coolest you just fly over the enemy base and bomb the crap outta it. hahahahahahahaha.............the only thing i dont like about the vehicles is that the grav cycle doesnt have a weapon.....if you slap a blaster on it and a little more armor and keep the speed it would be the ultimate assault vehicle. you just go in the front door and badaboom your inside the enemy base then you can just run around and blow everything up if you have the right weapon. i got about 1 hundred more things to right so lalalalalalalalalalalalahahahahahahahaha. hohohohohohohohohohohohohohohohohohohohohohohohohoho

THE GOOD:

THE BAD:
- no cloak pack
- no communication on offline

SUMMARY:
This game is awesome there is no game that could ever compare to this except for Tribes: Vengence but thats still within the tribes area so it doesnt count. Anyway this game has nice graphics.. the vehicles are awesome, good number of bots when playing, the whole bot support thing(unlike Halo), the pure action.. theese are only a few of the things that make this game ultimate! This is a game that should have selled like hotcakes although it didnt becuase the name is short of being interesting.. either way buy this game.. if you dont love it its becuase your mental capacity is so low you cant handle the greatness of this game..

SUMMARY:
My friend showed me this game. At first, i didnt think much of it. About an hour later, my senses kicked in and I was hooked!

A game like this, you really need to play a couple times b4 you give up on it. Dont play the campain mode first though, because you'll get pissed off the deep end. Instaed, play a CTF or "Capture and Hold" for a good hour just to get the jist of the combat (go through the tutorial first).

Some people would say this game is worthless offline, but it can go 2 player, plus the bots so I think its great (although the bots wont use vehicles).

As for the movement, I dont know what "The Dogg" is talking about. Is just...

THE GOOD:
Online FPS for the PS2, good for peeps on Dial-up

Gets boring pretty fast, not really much teamwork, hardly any communication possible, only 16 max players, crappy campaign mode, retarded bots. lol.

SUMMARY:
At first it was like ohhh crap ima get this game and buy the modem!! Then you play it for a few days and it's like man this sucks. There is pretty much NO reason to buy it for the single player, the campaign is VERY challenging, if not, impossible. The single player excuse for online play is ULTRA crap. The bots attack in large groups of ONE, plus they cant use vehicles. Now to the multiplayer, yes, it is pretty fun for maybe the first week. But there is usually no more then 40 servers, AT MOST. And, since most servers are run off cable/dsl and sometimes Dial-up, the lag can be unbearable for people on a 56k. And the 16 max player thing just doesnt suit the large maps. Very nice graphics, best vehicles i've used on a PS2 game, online, game modes are great, and a whole lot more i cant think of.

No online talking, controls may be hard for newbies.

Very good game. I recommend this game to any one who enjoys a nice first person shooter game. Should be one of those "PS2 Favorites" in my opinion. So get yer lazy butt off yer couch and go shopping for this game. just bought this game because I wanted an online POV shooter for ps2. so far all thats u have is socom and this one. wait till something better comes out in my personal opinion

Gameplay, Graphics, Computer players, etc.

No communication and the controls are frustrating.

SUMMARY:
It is a great multiplayer game. The online gameplay is okay and if you don't have a modem for your PS2, the bots are somes times even better than real players. All and all, it is a great game. It is 10 times better than the PC game, but that's my opinion.

"Must have" game!

This is no doubt the best PS2 game I own... With out a doubt probably in my mind the best PS2 game ever. The options are great but limited, and the maps are GREAT for this style gameplay. In all honesty I give this game a perfect 5.0. Plus the weapons choices... the only thing that could have made this better is the cloaking pack and a shocklance, oh yes... (then you would ALL feel my wrath!!! MUAHAHAHAHA)

I bought this game today and i cant stop playing it! Its addictave and the graphics are surpurb and the network set up is very easy. I love the vehicals and the weapons witch was on T2. but where is the water? they put fog insted! oh well not to big of a deal. u cant talk to ppl either but its not bad cuz by the time u said sumthing u would be dead with the fast pace action this game has and theres so much chaos which makes the game real fun, there is no time to plan! THE GOOD:
Nice graphics, I've encountered almost no lag online(although I'm playing on a cable and I sort servers in rank of lag), no morons to communicate with, addictive as hell.

THE BAD:
No people to communicate with at ALL, no customizable controls.

SUMMARY:
This is a great game for anyone who would rather play tribes on their PS2 (personally, I like it because everyone has the same PS2, rather than some psycho-geek with a $10,000 computer who can frag me 8 times before I hit the ground) than on their computer.

True, there is no communication, but there are some real dumbasses online who ruin communication in the first place, so it's not THAT big of a loss (plus, Tribes moves way too fast to formulate a complex strategy anyway).

When I play Tribes, I find there are too many things going on to think about sound, so I won't comment on it.

The game looks really nice, but not too...
