Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3

THE GOOD:
You can swap engines. Is the best thing in this game. You can make any car rotary, but I prefers L6 turbo or 8V. It have old cars like DATSUN. In addition, it have some Scion cars. This game only costs twenty dollars.

THE BAD:
It needs more manufacturers and more cars. The music tracks are cool but need more improvements. It need more challenges that race into Japan all the time(I want to drag with the rivals).

SUMMARY:
It have great sound and graphics. This game is difficult to beat. It have 6oo rivals. In this game you can make your dreamcar and put it into race with the supras or skylines. My first car is cheapy but it have 581 hp and reach 210 mph top speed. A Nissan Skyline have a top speed near the 240mph. The wanderers are the toughtest thing in this game to beat...

THE GOOD:
Wonderful graphics, rain and clear mixtures. Good cars, decent textures, and 600 rival might take anyone a while.

THE BAD:
Some visuals are quite hard to see from a distance.

SUMMARY:
By far the best game Crave has ever made, is Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3, a near similar, but somehow better version of Zero. The story is set, two years after the notorious, and yet vial Speed King was defeated by some unknown force, which would be you if you have played and defeated in Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero. There is no doubt that this game is definitely a game that every racing fan should make time to at the very least rent it. Great Budget title, considering the game is 19.99, (I got it for 13.49) so you should not have to go through a lot in order to get this. Over 100 cars, ranging from over 15 different manufacturers, and exactly 600 rivals to boot, is a game that is classic, and should be given a try, I can't say it any...

I love Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero, and now version 3 just makes it even worth more playing! Nothing really moves me more than the TXR series, i even tried the Need For Speed "Underground" and i just couldn't get into em, TXR3 just took the cake, im glad i put my $20.00 for this game, the grahics remind me of Grand Turismo 3, but with a nice Jap import touch, which you kno is the best mix. I just can't wait for the new version to come out, i kno they are going to be bringing more to the table, i been Playing TXR since the first version on DreamCast, and i have not been let down once ever since, "Crave" just makes the best import racer game ever!!! more cars to mod, more challening racers, more fun, and more adventures to take to make your way to the BIG BOSS...

THE GOOD:
Many different car types from many different manufacturers
New, advanced storyline
More rivals
Now there are more cities and tracks to race on rather than just Tokyo
Superb graphics
Massive variety of tune-ups
There is a weather system that can affect your driving
Not to mention, it's only 20 bucks!!!!

THE BAD:
For some reason, there are no hondas.
The computer is "not so smart", and they crash a lot.
Wanderers sometimes are a pain and require you to buy "unwanted" cars, wasting money.
Not many dramatic changes from the first 3.
Sort of gets repetitive after a while

SUMMARY:
Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3, the 4th game in the series. (TXR 1,2,0 and now 3)

This game does not come with a difficulty setting, but there are no worries, as the computer rivals in the beginning are slow and allow newcomers to the series to adapt to this game and improve.

This game is one of the best racing games I've ever played!!! But then again, I haven't played NFS Underground yet. Anyway, I heard from some of my friends that have it say that you can't do some things in NFSU that you can do in TXR3 and vice versa.

For one, in TXR3 you can totally do a custom paint job on your car. When I say totally I mean TOTALLY! I mean I once wrote the word POOP on my old car before I sold it! You can also make your own sticker and plaster it any where and any size you want. There is also a better storyline and FMV cutscenes throughout the game in various spots. Also all the cars are real and liscenced as well as the wheel companies.

Anyway, I highly reccomend that you guys go buy this game right now. I mean, at $20 how can you go wrong?

THE GOOD:
Licensing, realistic driving, american cars, massive amounts of vechicles to choose from, and don't forget the intergalactic graphics when racing bosses!

THE BAD:
NOTHING, but I wish there was a wider selection of rims and rim sizes like in TXR Zero.

this is the most addicitng game in the series! intially when i heard it would only be $20 to buy i was sceptical that it wouldn't be up to par. boy o boy was wrong cause genki and crave came through with a near perfect racing game and gorgeous price! I loved TXR zero more than life itself and i thought nothing could beat it. but with the 600 rivals to beat, licensing from the major manufacturers, and even more realistic driving i was again wrong, it feels great to be wrong with this game! i took me a little less than a weeke to beat the game ( except for wanders) and it was a pleasurful week to say the least! i am addicted and the only cure is when...

New cities, more rivals, higher detail in car tuning, racing in bad weather offers a challenging twist, exotic cars offered in place of many absent ones

THE BAD:
Less detail on rival cars compared to TXR0, no dramatic changes, not as many cars to choose from

SUMMARY:
I am a TXR addict. I bought TXR3 last week and i've already beaten it. Well, all of the teams and bosses. Anyway, the scenery is primarily the same just more refined. The AI seems somewhat more intellegent compared to the other games but not by a whole lot. To expand more on this, the rival racers are faster and more determined rather than smarter. The tuning shop in TXR3 is more complex and more fun. Now you can customize more to the car such as placing stickers where the user wants them, keeping the engine nice and cool, to variations in material of the aero parts. The player now has a more hands on approach on how he or she wants...
