Terminator 3: The Redemption

THE GOOD:
- The game 'Rise of the Machines' should have been.
- Nicely realised future and present worlds.
- Excellent sound quality: the usual lasers, explosions and great music.
- Fits the storyline of the film better.
- Exciting pace and nice mission ideas.
- At least the effort of a multiplayer mode...*
- Wide-ranging gameplay that keeps consistency.
- It's Arnie, it's Terminator, it's therefore cool.

THE BAD:
- Challenging: repeated attempts on some missions required.
- *...that feels like a tacked-on, poorly executed extra.
- Lack of weapons while on-foot.

SUMMARY:
My 'Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines' weekend is over. Having sat through the film three times (once with the commentary where Arnie talks about breasts and nakedness and sunglasses for two hours), played the abysmal tie-in game of the same name (see the User Review section of 'Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines' on PlayStation2)...

THE GOOD:
Nice smooth graphics
Cool moves
Decent voice acting
Cool weapons
Nice variety of gameplay
Lots of carnage
Good atmosphere
Budget title

THE BAD:
It's super hard
Some framerate slowdown
It's just not that special
Long loading times

SUMMARY:
This is good. This is far better than Dawn of Fate and total turd of a game, Rise of the Machines. Pardigm have came back with this Terminator game. These were the guys who developed Dawn of Fate and it improves in every single way.
For starters their are three different types of gameplay.

First is the normal running around and shooting stuff style. It plays well as a third-person shooter. Arnie has some weapons at his disposal. Most guns are machine gun type thingies. He all you have to do lock-on to whatever you want to shoot and hold R1. Arnie also has some fighting combos. You can Terminator's heads off and everything if you get the right combo. What also...

SUMMARY:
The gameplay is excellent and the setting is cool.The graphics are good even on the ps2.The only real drawback is the difficulty,On the level where you drive a vehicle in the beginning where you take over a tank to destroy reactors are nearly impossible to beat you die very quickly.but overall it is a great game it actually made me rent t3 rise of the machines game just to play the game demo on it.That game sucked big time.If this...
