Summoner

THE BAD:
It is underated and not many people have played it or know about it, such a shame. I'm not sure what to say bad about this game. If your considering buying it now take in mind this game was a launch title for the PS2 although its an extremely great game other games(publishers) had the chance to learn and progress from it and titles like this(but if i were you id blow the dust off it and give it a shot!).

SUMMARY:

THE BAD:
The only two things that were bad were: The graphics of the characters. That was pretty bad. I don't usually care about the graphics, but these were horrible. Also, how hard the battles could be sometimes, especially when there are like four enemies ganging up on you.

SUMMARY:
I don't know if I would buy this game. Maybe if it was like $20, but other then that I would just rent it once again. There really isn't a storyline, so I can't say much on that. I also really liked the quest idea. There were so many to do, and you could totally screw yourself over on a couple of them, but it was a good concept nonetheless.

this game i fell in love with the first time i played and iam not much for playing playstation games i normally let my kids play because that's who i bought it for but when i went into the store to buy my daughter a game i saw summoner which caught my eye and i played it that night and have been playing ever since. i give this game a 5! which iam still trying figure out how do input the game cheats and codes? and what is the title screen? i have no idea since there are so many when the game begins. How come there are no signals on the game for these reasons? i don't know but iam still enjoying it okay you want me to say more about this game? yeah well i haven't quite made it pass the world map seeing as though i am haveing some trouble and the only thing is i can't seem to get my chain back in this game. that would be my only concern but all in all i think it is a superb game for older people like mysefl.

THE BAD:
Slow jerky combat, often unclear missions and horrible ps1 like graphics

SUMMARY:
I like rpgs so naturally I thought i'd give this a go but I was dissapointed. It seemed slow jerky and the graphics to me looked like a ps1 game. Even though I may have been a little hasty I still think it could have been vastly better. I may give it another go one day but having played summoner 2 that will be a long way off as I find the sequel a far superior game. Still there are nice features that did give me enjoyment such as the semi decent voice overs the at times interesting story line and at times rewarding. But more than anything I found the sloppy controls tedious. In any case I got the game for £10 and for that price i'd say it was worth it.

THE BAD:

-Not addictive(doesn't have that Zing)
-I won't say, but this doesn't seem like a rpg, seems more of like an action game than an rpg.

SUMMARY:
My apologies to anyone that is offended by my review, but i couldn't stand this game. I hated it alot. If you're a diehard fan of FF's or something, yous shouldn't get this game. However, if you like games like Baldur's Gate, this is the game for you. I will say no more....

THE BAD:
The slow spell casting time and the inventory is kinda hard to sort out somtimes.

SUMMARY:
This game just KICKS ROYAL A**!! It is alittle but better than Legends of Dragoon. because you can actully use each indvidual player, and the spells are a little bit better..
