Last month's Lego Star Wars may go down in history as the only Star Wars game based specifically within the storylines of George Lucas' recent prequels to actually be any good. This somewhat disheartening statement is solidified by the most recent game based on one of the films, Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. Revenge of the Sith certainly had a great deal of potential, featuring lots of scenes taken directly from the film that currently isn't even out yet, lots of lightsaber dueling, and 16 missions based around action-packed sequences from the film (as well as a few bonus missions). Unfortunately, the scenes taken from the movie give an awful lot of the upcoming movie away while still leaving out too much story to be relevant. Meanwhile, the lightsaber dueling is ultimately too repetitive and easily exploited to be very fun for long, and each of the 16 missions (and subsequent bonus missions) don't take more than 10 to 20 minutes apiece...

Overall this game is broken in every sense of the word.the graphics are akward and mediocre at best, deserving a 6/10 for fixed camera angles, cool lightsaber EFXs and choppy animations.the sound section of this game is a shy away from mediocracy with nice movie add-ins and musical score deserving of a 7.25/10, but repetitive one liners and the symtom of every movie to game, the LOTR upgrade system rippoffs, leaves me to think how long did it take to make this game? which leads me to talk abou t the entertainment portion of the game.the co-op sucks, the lightsaber battling sucks and the number of bonuses suck, because: theirs not enough of choices to choose from, most of the bonuses consist of meaningless concept art and pictures that don't add a slight bit of depth to the game at all and it only takes 5 hours finish the main story,so this portion desrves a 5.5/10.Finally the only thing I have left to say about this game is, it sucks.

SUMMARY:
Introduction:
Well I've been looking forward to the movie for a while now, so I was going to buy the game for sure. So I have already completed and I bought it on the day it came out, 5/5/05. I really wanted to see if this game has better fighting than KOTOR, even though this is way more of a fighting game it had much better action in it. If you want to experience Anakins fall into the Dark side, I advise you buy this game.

Game Play:

The movie footage is very well placed, if you don't want to ruin the movie for you, don't...

THE GOOD:
Graphics
Light Sabers
The force powers

THE BAD:
No online play
Stupid Co-op mode
Difficulty
Resemblance to Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King
Camera angle
Dumb AI (for some reason only the ones on your side)
Tons of lag
Voiceovers (Anakin always sounds like a little girl when he talks), their always saying repetitive lines like... Your just scrap metal and just another pile of junk.

SUMMARY:
When I first picked up this game today (5-5-05) I was expecting to be better than battlefront. It wasn't. The graphics in this game are absolutely beautiful, but the game play just doesn't cut it. If you have ever played Lord of The Rings: The Return of The King, you will see there is no difference between this game and that game (except for the light sabers and the force powers). It has the same camera angle (which I don't like) (it's a third-person perspective but you can't move the camera to see what's in...

THE GOOD:
-Best lightsaber mechanics ever!
-*spoiler* great alternate ending
-*another spoiler* get to play as Darth Vader
-Clips from the movie
-Fun and challenging

THE BAD:
-Graphics are dull occasionally
-Slowdown and freezing in some areas....
-Kind of Short

SUMMARY:
This game is one of the best Star Wars games, as you should all know,Collective, the game's developer is great at making quality games, most of that quality is found in the gameplay. Wherein lies excellently choreographed moves which are fun to watch and even more to control, and it is also a suprisingly challenging game. But where there is good, there is bad, and it is no different in this game. While the game excels gameplay-wise it stutters in the technical department, the graphics are occasionally bland and blocky, and the gameplay itself occasionally stutters or stops. And the game has only 16 levels(17 including the alternate ending)! Needless to say the...

THE GOOD:
- The best lightsaber combat system ever seen.
- Authentic movie footage blended into gameplay.
- Decent sound.
- Nice pace and mission layout is well done.
- Force Powers.
- Multiplayer Duel and Co-operative modes are fun.
- It's "Revenge of the Sith".

THE BAD:
- No "Revenge of the Sith" music.
- Voice acting a fraction of a percent dodgy.
- Tough, and relentless.

SUMMARY:
Well, it's arrived.

"Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith" is not out for another two weeks in cinemas but lucky PlayStation2 or Xbox owners can experience all the action from the movie (but not much dialogue) with the official game version of the film, "Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith - The Videogame". The film is shaping up to be a lightsaber slash-fest of the highest quality degree, and of the game, much the same can definately be said.

Challenging you to take control of either Anakin Skywalker, the young...
