Star Wars: Battlefront

THE GOOD:
- A wide range of maps to play on, most of which are very impressive and unique
- A range of classes to play as in battle, and 4 different teams
- Good weapons for each class, and turrets, tanks and fighter ships to use
- Very nice graphics, with good detail
- Split screen and Online play is an enjoyable option
- You can get very involved in the battles, as you fight alongside your army
- Re-enact your favourite battles from the movies in the Historical Campaign mode (And see cut scenes from the movies)

THE BAD:
- No battles in space
- You can only run at one speed
- Jedi are not playable characters
- The Historical Campaign is too short

Star Wars Battlefront is the first of its kind in Star Wars video games. It mainly focuses on the troops from the CIS(Droids), Galactic Republic, Rebels and Galactic Empire, instead of the Jedi as main characters....

THE GOOD:
A large variety of planets

THE BAD:
Jedis are impossible to kill
Gungans are irritating when fighting alongside them in battle
Just Basic soldiers
No space battles
A lot of death and respawning involved

SUMMARY:
In a nutshell, this is easily one of the two best Star Wars games (The other being Lego Star Wars). As soon as you start a level, you get the instant Star Wars look. All 4 armies are there (Rebels, Empire, Republic, Trade Federation), the large choice of planets (Kamino, Naboo, Yavin 4 etc.) and lots of veichles. But we've been burnt before, is it a proper Star Wars game? Yes, this game has the large landscape and proportion that is similar to the Star Wars world. The large armies that cover an entire battlefield (including veichles). It's a game that the Star Wars fan craves...

THE GOOD:
-You actually feel like you are in a battle.
-Way above average gameplay.
-Many different ways to win the battles.
-Many different single and multiplayer game modes.
-Tons of different units to choose from.
-Tons of vehicles for use.

THE BAD:
-The music gets a little annoying after a while.
-Jedi are way to powerful.
-Sometimes battles feel like a coin toss decides the outcome.
-You can lose even if you have some men still fighting.
-Not enough space to successfully use starships.
-No space battles.

SUMMARY:
This review, I feel, is going to be slightly biased because I have just seen the screens and previews for Battlefront II (which is going to completely dominate the original) so I may go a little hard on it. Firstly, this game retails now for around twenty bucks, less if it's used. It is absolutely worth it. As you begin playing the game you may think that there isn't...

THE GOOD:
fun commanding people, great 2 player mode!! lots of vehicles and levels!! different era selections and hilarious deaths!!jedis help you in battle!killing annoying jawas,and killing those god awful souding sand people!!

THE BAD:
foggy looking graphics, two guns! can't select different guns, and kinda bad sound,dark troopers dont have enough fuel and do not fill up quickly.the story is too shortand you cant be jedis!

this game is fun but gets boring because the computers are so stupid!!!I recomend having a friend com over and play the game, its much better that way!!! .i am not too wild about the graphics because they are so foggy!!! anyway if i ever get my online hooked up i'll talk about online play!!! secrest out!...i mean KISS Fan20 out! lol!

THE GOOD:
The Good? The Awesome is more like it! This game has everything a StarWars fan could want! The story follows just like the movies with some extra levels thrown in so it wont get boring. The single player is great! You can choose one of three modes, story, Galactic Conquest, and freeplay. Story could be better but its still good anyway. The Galactic Conquest is good because you go on a journey thru every planet (the ones in the movies and ren var) and as the name suggests take over the galaxy. Freeplay is just like multiplayer but with only fone player obviously, but its still great. The graphics are phenominal. The Splitsceen mode (2 players) is great even tho the screen gets smaller, you can be on each others teams, or be against each other. This game lets you play every battle how you want.
