Star Wars: Battlefront

THE GOOD:
- A wide range of maps to play on, most of which are very impressive and unique
- A range of classes to play as in battle, and 4 different teams
- Good weapons for each class, and turrets, tanks and fighter ships to use
- Very nice graphics, with good detail
- Split screen and Online play is an enjoyable option
- You can get very involved in the battles, as you fight alongside your army
- Re-enact your favourite battles from the movies in the Historical Campaign mode (And see cut scenes from the movies)

THE BAD:
- No battles in space
- You can only run at one speed
- Jedi are not playable characters
- The Historical Campaign is too short

SUMMARY:
In a nutshell, this is easily one of the two best Star Wars games (The other being Lego Star Wars). As soon as you start a level, you get the instant Star Wars look. All 4 armies are there (Rebels, Empire, Republic, Trade Federation), the large choice of planets (Kamino, Naboo, Yavin 4 etc.) and lots of veichles. THE GOOD:
-You actually feel like you are in a battle.
-Way above average gameplay.
-Many different ways to win the battles.
-Many different single and multiplayer game modes.
-Tons of different units to choose from.
-Tons of vehicles for use.

THE BAD:
-The music gets a little annoying after a while.
-Jedi are way to powerful.
-Sometimes battles feel like a coin toss decides the outcome.
-You can lose even if you have some men still fighting.
-Not enough space to successfully use starships.
-No space battles.

SUMMARY:
This review, I feel, is going to be slightly biased because I have just seen the screens and previews for Battlefront II (which is going to completely dominate the original) so I may go a little hard on it. THE GOOD:
Best Star Wars video game ever released. The graphics are pretty good and the gameplay is very addictive. Plenty of vehicles and fighters to choose from and a fun shooting game. Capturing command posts is fun especially when against a mate or someone and shooting Gunguns is always fun!!

THE BAD:
Probably could have a better Stroy Mode as it was too short. Team and enemy AI is shockingly bad and they don't follow orders well enough and it seems they just get bored of fighting. Blast radius could be improved on a few projectile guns e.g Mortar Launcher. Fighters can't do rolls or stunts which doesn't feel as good.

SUMMARY:
You can play this game for ever it's so addictive and going into Hoth with an AT-AT is great fun. It's fun to play and the graphics look alright for a PS2 game and offline there's not much lag to put up with. The Galactic Conquest is fun when playing against a friend on it and can seem to last ages if you're both...

foggy looking graphics, two guns! can't select different guns, and kinda bad sound,dark troopers dont have enough fuel and do not fill up quickly.the story is too shortand you cant be jedis!

this game is fun but gets boring because the computers are so stupid!!!I recomend having a friend com over and play the game, its much better that way!!! .i am not too wild about the graphics because they are so foggy!!! anyway if i ever get my online hooked up i'll talk about online play!!! secrest out!...i mean KISS Fan20 out! lol!

THE GOOD:
The Good? The Awesome is more like it! This game has everything a StarWars fan could want! The story follows just like the movies with some extra levels thrown in so it wont get boring. The single player is great! You can choose one of three modes, story, Galactic Conquest, and freeplay. Story could be better but its still good anyway. The Galactic Conquest is good because you go on a journey thru every planet (the ones in the movies and ren var) and as the name suggests take over the galaxy. Freeplay is just like multiplayer but with only fone player obviously, but its still great. The graphics are phenominal.
