SUMMARY:
This is the game that got me started. Racing combined with shooting. What could be better? There is a plot and it makes sense, but you can ignore it and get throught the missions just fine. Its gone multiplatform by now but it's the same for all.

Anyway the car that you drive is a very special car. It has three modes-jetboat, motorcycle, and regular car-and when your normal car-mode armor is beat up, you can discard it and race off in your faster motorcycle mode. You fight nondescript gangster-like cars while racing towards an objective, and unfotunately one of them always is not to harm civialians, and thats hard whenyou got 3 black cars behind you shooting at you. Luckily you can lose them in an oil slick, or dispatch them with...

THE BAD:

SUMMARY:
I've never seen a car that turns into a boat, a jet ski, and a cycle in one game! The J. Bond-Style music and talking computer, as well as the plot, work perfectly with the game's idealistic measure. I noticed that it was hard in some areas, but with some practice and the surprising element, I found this game to be very vivid and imaginitive. I also learned where the R3 button was. I was in the Swamp Venom Mission and the towers were there and I was saying "R3? Where's R3?" It took me 3 weeks to figure that out. I saw every element in this game and found out that they were copying James Bond flicks, but I saw the game's history and found out that it was an original creation. So, to sum it up, I LOVE this game. It goes to my Top Favorites List. If I ever learn to make a Neohome, I'll post them for you.

THE BAD:
The game is pretty hard. It will make you want to kick a hole in your tv.

SUMMARY:
Uh...all in all its pretty sweet. A little hard but really sweet. There aren't many levels in the game, I think only 12 or 13 but it will take you a week to get past the training course. The levels are good, the objectives are pretty good too. pretty sweet graphics and weapons, can't forget the weapons! A nice wide selection including EMP missiles, machine guns, oil slick, and smoke screen.

What im trying to say is BUY THIS GAME!!!!

THE BAD:

SUMMARY:
The game is all good. It just isn't my typ of game realy.. The guys shotting at you in the first mission are kinda sucky. But I guess the story is good. I like things that go BBBBOOOMMM!!!! And theres alot of that. I don't like how you have to get all the objectives to do a two player on that level.

THE BAD:
Requires a lot of practice to advance. Don't expect to finish this one quick. Odd controller layout.

SUMMARY:
Spy Hunter has a terrific storyline and gameplay style. It does a great justice to it's predecessor. Graphics wise it's definitely one of those titles you bought a PS2 for.

But it's fairly challenging.

It takes a lot of practice. It took me like 20 attempts to get all the objectives for the level 2. But after Level 4 or 5 you should be groovin.

It's my opinion I think it's the odd controller layout that makes the game so hard when you start out. Once you get used to it it's much easier.

Let's all hope someone posts some cheats soon - that'll make it more enjoyable for most players.

THE BAD:
The levels are a bit too short but other than that.. They also could have included the old version (unless that's one of the cheats I haven't unlocked yet.)

SUMMARY:
Featuring a cool new version of the Peter Gunn theme complete with lyrics from Saliva, Spy Hunter really lives up to the quality of the original. The graphics are amazing, the animations are very cool. The CGI cutscenes are neat (albeit short for most of them). The only drawbacks that I have seen so far is that some of the levels are just too short. Also they could've included the old version of Spy Hunter (ala Pitfall 3-D) unless that is one of the cheats I haven't unlocked yet. The extras could be a little more exciting but they're still cool. Also, there is a neat two-player option thats loads of fun as well. I'm a pretty strict judge when it comes to games...
