I wouldn't buy this game because there are better RPGs out there, but I would get it as an action game. OK game,though....

has awsome graphics, characters, levels, and gameplay.

THE BAD:
needs more things like extra games, create a level, and more levels with bigger jumps.

SUMMARY:
this is a great game that every one should own. is very fun, great graphics, great characters, great controls not confusing or anything, and great game play. the tricks are cool looking and all but the levels should be bigger with more huge jumps but their should be like a create a level or character.

now i like to consider myself a hard-core gamer ( i mean i dont put down that controller till my hands start bleeding)and this is the game that i love the most.I mean its got difernt caharectar multiple race tracks and sweet wave runners its non stop adrenalin its got every tirck in the book( some of the combos or whatever are a little tricky to figure out. trust me once u play it u wont stop!!

This game is great. It very might well be one of the best water games ever. I have never played Wave Rally or Wave Race: Blue Storm though, but from playing Splashdown, I think it has a change to beat all.

Excellent extreme sports edition to PS2 software shelf. Nice mix of simulation and arcade gameplay provide a fast paced, thrilling game. Learning curve is fairly easy and increases greatly each difficulty level. Multi-button combos for the die hard racers perform cool stunts, but these aren't needed to win the game. Graphically, the water and backround blows all water sports games to pieces including WAVE RACE BLUESTORM and WAVE RALLY. Splashdown may not have big name companies like Nintendo or Eidos behind it, but it far surpasses each in several ways.
