SOCOM III is known for its untouchable online mode which drew thousands of competitive players and swarms of memorable firefights and funny moments. However no one has really delved into SOCOM III's single player mode and that is what this review will focus on, for the people who are unfortunate not to experience the online side of things (like myself).
The first thing I would like to explore is the visuals of SOCOM III; which in my opinion are very well done. For example the blurred effect when you get hit by bullets makes you feel like you are really getting hit and this makes you rush to find cover and also when explosives have gone off and anyone is near it, they get thrown back from the blast which adds a nice touch too. Another minor detail which helps the game dramatically is the way the enemies react when they are being shot which is very realistic and the way they limp and how they fall to the ground is just a very important minor detail to the whole experience.
