"Overall, if you don't have any way to utilize the multiplayer options, this game might still be worth buying if you are a fan of shooters, or you may want to wait for the first price drop. If you have the capabilities to utilize the multiplayer options in this game, it is worth getting right away."

"Combined Assault offers the same great gameplay of its predecessors along with a lengthy single-player campaign that can also be played cooperatively."
"SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Combined Assault is a strong game in many ways, but more so than with SOCOM 3 it's because of its multiplayer. While its online functionality has always been key to the series' success, Combined Assault rides on this as its single-player stuff simply isn't as strong as it has been in the past, which it's never really been known for anyway. The ability to play against SOCOM 3 players gives it a fantastic running start, and the new maps are great stuff. If you're a fan of the series, you won't be disappointed as long as you don't expect too much more than a rather extensive expansion pack."
