Limited trick system compared to SSX Tricky
SUMMARY:
As a big fan of the original Sled Storm, I have been looking forward to the title's PS2 debut for some time. Luckily, although it deviates significantly from the original game, one quality remains shared between the two titles: FUN! Granted, the trick system is not as over the top as the SSX series, but the level design is absolutely superb, and the tracks are MUCH longer than those in SSX. However, the point of this game is to race, so it makes sense that the stunts are toned down a bit. However, as was the case with several previous generation games (such as Mario Kart 64) the opponent AI is designed to keep the races close.
