THE GOOD:
+Excellent Graphics

Samurai Warriors 2 Empires is an expansion for KOEI's Warriors series where the player controls a Empire in a region and aims to conquer all of the regions in the land to unite them as one. KOEI has done it with Dynasty Warriors 4 and 5, they are continuing to do this with the Samurai Warriors.

Objective:
Just like the two Dynasty Empires game, this game's objective is to unite the entire country of Japan with a clan of your choice or making. Yes, one of the new features is that there are region-specific campaigns here, and once you have completed it, you'll be given an option to move on into entire Japan mode with the said region already in your hands, making your campaign easier. There are 11 scenarios total to choose from. 4 of whom are historical, 6 regional, and a make believe scenario where you...

What happens when you mix Dynasty Warriors with Romance Of The Three Kingdoms? You get Dynasty Warriors: Empires. Now, Koei tried a new mix: Samurai Warriors with Nobunaga's Ambition. This new title brings the much less exploited Sengoku unification theme back from the dead using the characters of Samurai Warriors 2.

Graphics - 10

The main graphical problems were all stated when SW2 first came out. The graphics remains unchanged for the most part. I haven't witnessed any slowdowns or enemies disappearing either. Basically, the graphics you'd expect from a typical Warriors game.

Audio - 9

Wow! This is one of the high points in the game. Why did I gave it a nine then? Mostly because the voice acting is still pretty bad. You can go from emotionless characters to seemingly wrong voice for a character. Still, there is a lot to listen too. All the special events also have voices. You can also listen to most battle speeches using the Archives...
