Ridge Racer V

THE BAD:
Repetitive, series is starting to get old...

SUMMARY:
I enjoyed this game but its basically just you're average racer sim. It has nothing special and you can't compare it to racers such as Gran Turismo 3. But, I think you can still enjoy this game but it just doesn't give you the same fun factor as Gran Turismo does so easily.

But, overall its a descent game that I would recommend checking out...

THE BAD:
Too short with regards to secrets to unlock, Unvaried tracks

SUMMARY:
Not bad for one of the first releases ever on PS2 but there are vast areas for improvement before releasing a sequel.

more added features would be nice, hidden tracks and cars by the bucket load.

Many newer racing games have blown this off the track, down a steep mountain and crashing as low as it can go. My advice is to look into GT or Toca Race Driver.

i would much rather like it if namco used its knowhow to make driving simulators instead of sh** arcade games!!!! for starters i only have the game because my GT3 cd snaped and they had sold out of them in the shop. and rrv is only worth £19.99. piece of crap. not worth the bus fare i payed to go the the shop to take back the brocken gt3 disk.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and this shit site wont let me vote with 0.0. *bleep*ing shit!!

THE BAD:
There is no option were you can just race against the computer without being in a season.

SUMMARY:
Just like the original Playstation, Ridge Racer is one of (if not the top) the top early released racing games for the console.
