Ephemeral Fantasia

THE GOOD:
- Great graphics

THE BAD:
- Takes too long to load a map sequel
- Very difficult to past (maybe this is the main reason that people don't like this game because it is a hard game to past)!

Well, there was one time when I went to a store called "Good Guys" that a game called "Ephemeral Fantasia" caught my eye. It had a very beautiful cover, the pictures that show on the game box looked a bit weird but it looked like a very interesting game that I decided to buy it. When I bought it, I tooled it out to dinner and nearly got married with the game. Well, I came back to my house and popped the game inside my Playstation2 and to my surprise the game looked more like a movie! Actually a really boring...

THE GOOD:
Music; graphics; time transaction; cool characters

THE BAD:
Dungeons; annoying monsters; no help; no direction; no detail on characters; area layout; much more.

SUMMARY:
I rented this game almost a week ago because there wasn't any other games at Blockbuster. Wow, that was a mistake.
Ephemeral Fantasia is a game that you buy only if you have a need to kill time and a taste for games that you can zip through. This game goes very fast; too fast if you ask me. There is almost no detail on charaters or events, so it's hard to find out things about characters and stuff. When I first had to play the song they give you for the King, I got a very bad rating on it because they didn't even bother telling me how to play or anything.
Though the graphics are good for one of the earliest PS2 games I've seen, and the music is lovley, it still doesn't make up for the lack of detail or design. A person will just tell...

THE GOOD:
well....hmm. Not much good. The graphics and music were ok.

THE BAD:
MAJOR DISSAPOINTMENT! It sucked sooooooooo bad. The gameplay was stupid. THe loading was absoulutly ridiculous! I wouldn't even use this game as a frisbee!

SUMMARY:
I am a huge RPG fan but this was such crap. I saw the picture on the box and thought it looked cool but I was wrong. The characters are okay i guess. But this game is completly boring and pointless. Most of the game is cinematics anyway. Do not make the mistake of getting this game. You WILL regret it!!

SUMMARY:
This is a good stradegy rpg. Very dificult game cause i had to find party members from all over the island and the time thingy makes it more dificult. Good graffics in battle especially seens you learn new attakes the more you battle!!!! this game is unbeatable with a guide so i had to buy one but it was worth it casue it saved me time. this game is in the second of my favorite rpg!!!!!!!!!!!

THE GOOD:
It's so bad that it keeps you playing because you think there's GOT to be a point to this mess.

THE BAD:
It's ridiculous: the loading, the graphics, the dialog, the lack of direction, the layout of the dungeons, etc.

SUMMARY:
We rented this due to the pretty picture on the box and quickly realized our mistake upon actually playing this monstrosity of a game. Somebody seriously should have had QA let real people touch this before unleashing it on an unsuspecting public.

Let's start with Rummy. Sure it's neat to watch her boobs bounce during fight scenes. But it looks like the designer just attached balloons to her chest. We have seen real women like that, but usually after serious plastic surgery. We keep reading drool over the female characters and yeah Claire is pretty hot, but seriously ... that doesn't make a game good.

THE GOOD:
I really like this game alot. Because it is so much different from the same hum drum role playing games. Where you just run from beginning to end and getting details of what you are doing and where you are going at all times. I think this is close to on of the best role playing games I ever played with the exception of the Final Fantasy series. Wich I enjoy the most ever.

THE BAD:
The only thing I didn't like in this game is having to wait for the hit meter to go back up for your next attack. Sometimes it would move faster than others.

SUMMARY:
The game is just cool overall. I wished the graphics were just a little better in the cinematics. But other than that I liked it a lot.

THE GOOD:

some of the controls, The timing in some areas, the constant loading

SUMMARY:
Unlike most people, the loading does not bother me that much. The biggest problem (at least until you find the ugly old hag) is the waiting for certain hours. I find that sometimes I just have to stand there, unpaused, and go get a sandwich or something. If I go and try to do anything else, I miss the event! Also, getting some of the characters is extremely unclear. I honestly had to cheat a little (thank you walkthroughs) just to get to where I am and I am not done yet (I think about half way). This is a fun game, it is addictive, but it has a SLOW start. The two best things are the following: Xelpherpolis looks like Sepheroth on vacation, and Rummy's breats bounce ALOT in battle (Believe it or not, though, I like guys. THE GOOD:
It's really challenging, good graphics, great music, this is a good game for all you RPG lovers like me.

THE BAD:
It offen gets too boring for me. wondering around waiting for it to load.

SUMMARY:
This game is really great, it can be very addictive indeed. Iwish I had more time too play it though. There is of course a couple of things I can't stand about this game. It loads too slow, too boring, but intrusting, it keeps you wondering whats nexts, or what to do now.

THE GOOD:
Unique time system, music.

THE BAD:
All the loading screens, the dress choices of the girls.

SUMMARY:
I must admit, I haven't finished the game. I'm having extreme difficulties because I try to coordinate too many things in one "round." Oh, well. Anyway, I really love playing on the instrument, I find it calms me when I'm frustrated about not getting somewhere on time. One minute to an hour is not enough, I say. Anyway, it's a good game. I have only one major complaint; all the girls dress like complete SLUTS! Oh, well... I guess that's what you have to deal with when you play a game designed for guys... *sigh*
