THE GOOD:
The anime cut scenes are nice and the anime its based on is cool.

THE BAD:
The most glaring falut in this game is the fighitng. Its slow, awkward and your like a sitting duck during battles cause there aint no hea;ing items and whatnot to help.

SUMMARY:
This the second worst game I have ever played in my life. The first would be Vampire Hunter D which coincedentally based on an anime that I enjoyed. Well anywyas back on the task at hand, this game sucks serious donkey balls. The story is dumb cause it has to do with this egg that controls time and it really takes you anytime it "feels" like taking u somewhere. The graphics are also appailingly bad. The characters have lost their charm from the TV show. The characters that are exculisve for the game are also uninteresting, ecept for this cute girl with roses in her hair. The battle system in this game is slow akward and feels "incomplete" in a wya. iam not sure why but it does. ALso...

THE GOOD:
Cinematic battle system, multiple storylines, unlockable galleries.

THE BAD:
Tricky camera angles, lengthy cut-scenes

SUMMARY:
Once again, this is a title that fans of the original anime will enjoy. It includes many of the original characters (Cleao, Majick, Lucky), and introduces a few new ones. However, those who aren't familiar with the Orphen series may not be able to get into the spirit of it that easily and brush it off as just "another action RPG".

The battle system is the most noteworthy part of the entire game. It's stunningly cinematic, constantly shifting camera angles to make it seem as if you're actually playing the show. This also forces players to keep an eye on what's going on around them so that they can strategize their movements.

The multiple storyline feature makes for good replay value, allowing for gamers to experience at least three different runs through. Not to mention that...

THE GOOD:
- Introduction movie
- Magic
- Start menu

THE BAD:

I can say a never ending of bad things about this game but in shorter words, 70/100% of the game is bad.

SUMMARY:
This game is one of the all time PS2 greatest catastrophe game! Orphen: Scion of Sorcery has one of the good, hard working, animated introduction movie scenes! Based on the anime-comic show, this introduction movie is one of the few hard working work that the game developers (not to forget the publishers also) has maid because the introduction scene is very interesting to watch. Orphen (the main character) is shown fighting with the casual enemies we can find in this game and as for the rest of the cast, they are also shown fighting, flying, running, and a great infinite things that this introduction movie shows. I love the main menu and options. When I first saw this specific part of the game, I said to myself "Well, I guest I will be seeing another of the...

THE GOOD:
...........

THE BAD:
-ugly dull graphcis. -Horrible real tiem gameplay. -awful story. -awful voices. -terrible battles. -hardly any battles. -idiotic save system. -terrible exploration control. -really easy.

SUMMARY:
this is activisions worst game in years. There's just not much good about it. Almost everything about this game is of low quality....the graphcis....the sound....the gameplay....the control....the artwork. The game dispite the features in gameplay is pathetically easy, you can actually try to lose a battle and win. (I'm serious!) The save system really is astupid. Example: You walk down a hallway and save....walk down another hallway and the game ask you to save agian....why? the only way i recommend you play this game is if you find it for a 2 hour rental for 10 cents. that's the only way. Activison should really be ahsamed of themselves for this one.

THE GOOD:
The title is superb......but this game just doesn't live up too it.

THE BAD:
Simply put:The gameplay.

SUMMARY:
My brother bought this game about two weeks ago. The cover was cool and the title was great. But when I played this game I got bored to death in the first three minutes. That's reasonable considering that the first three minutes are nothing but cutscences. But I was hoping that the game would make up for it in the gameplay.....It didn't. As it would turn out, you can't save at will, you have to prgress to a certain point in the game. And at some points the game asks you to save when no progress has been done, (For example: You save, walk down a hallway, run into a cutscene and save agian.)The dubbing is AWFUL, and there are no subtitles. (Which is totally unfair to those who are death) In battles you can't move becuase you attack like in most rpg's but enemies CAN move. (WHY!?) this is very stupid and frustrating becuase it...

THE GOOD:
Fairly good continueous battle mode, and the mix of story lines.

THE BAD:
Not Enough battles, confusing battle mode, overuse of puzzles and traps that aren't difficult.

SUMMARY:
This game could have been good, but they had annoying voices and one way roads. This makes for a lousy rpg and short playing time. The plot was also very weak, with everyone after an all powerful egg. If you have some time and don't want to buy the game, rent it.

THE GOOD:
Anime scenes

THE BAD:
Voiceovers

SUMMARY:
I beat this game in seven hours without a walkthorugh. I loved the anime scenes from this thing, Orphen is a hottie ^^ (Obviously I'm a girl) Problem was, the voicovers didn't atch and the movements kinda got scary when they weren't talking yet still flapping their arms and lips.
