THE GOOD:
Where do I start?
- Excellent graphics
- Great gameplay
- Good story
- Good characters/weapons/enemies

THE BAD:
- Some times the pre-rendered backgrounds look a bit dodgy
- Characters can look 'detached' from the scenery
- Controls are a bit hard to grasp for a ew player

SUMMARY:
OK, this games doesn't start out well, the new character seems 'odd' because he is so different to the previous hero Samanosuke', the controls are still defiantly digital, and the characters, as I have said can look detached. From the start you are wowed by a glorious CGi intro, probably the best I have ever seen, yet once the gameplay starts, you are essentially playing a game bolted onto the foundations of Resident Evil, a six year old PSOne game, great though the graphics are, Capcom should have made the leap into full 3D, and left behind the pre-rendered backgrounds of old. Thankfull as the sequel draws closer, we have...

THE GOOD:
good graphics,great storyline,good character design,scenario route awsome!

THE BAD:
takes a very short time to beat

SUMMARY:
this game is really cool!! though it take a short time to beat that doesnt mean you cant still play it! the scenario route lets you keep going so you have another goal other than beat the game.100% scenario route! with the scenario route you can play the game differently depending on wich sub-charater you befriend which is a monk,a fencer,a marksman, and a ninja. thats one of the main good things about this game. and each sub-character has thier own theme song(all are very cool) though you took a while for capcom to release the sequal to warlords,i still think its more good than bad.this game is a combonation of action, drama.and humor. out of ten id have to give this game a ten all the way (i cant wait for the next sequal!)

THE GOOD:
-More Bosses
-More levels
-More wapons
-More cursing
-Easier to kill people in this

THE BAD:
-Same old battle system
-Jubei is a looser, not as cool as Samanosuke
-Camera angles can be annoiying

SUMMARY:
You assume the role of Jubei, a samurai who comes home to find his village destroyed. He then goes to find who did it, and fights against millions of demons to do it. You can learn new attacks by finding new books. ou can also trade with other characters to progress. It is a good game that is too short though, if you liked the 1st one, (read review) then you'll like this one too.

THE GOOD:
Jubei was cool (not as cool as Samanosuke) of course
Good Action
Easier Critical hits
More characters
More bosses

THE BAD:
Still too short

SUMMARY:
There is just one thing about this game that really really annoys me is the robots. What the heck is up with the robots. They make the case with the robots being demon technology, but this was the corniest part of any game I have liked in the past couple of years. The airship and the glider I can understand, but Capcom, do yourself a favor and forget about the robots for Onimusha 3. Otherwise, I loved it.

THE GOOD:
controls, Graphics & Story setting.

THE BAD:
Camera Angles (same problem with devil may cry)

SUMMARY:
They world of gaming is becoming so amazing that even a star from Eastenders is fanatic about games. This game compared to final fantasy 10 is superb. This game's graphics is superb and unbelievably nice and beautiful. This game talks about the revenge of a young man (whatever). It's better compared to the first epic and also possesses new skills. He fights his way with three characters consisting of men. These men possess different skill, I forgot to mention but the don't play every single level. They help based on the story line of the game. As a friendly advice live your home and join the world of slicing and stabbing. The only problem about this game is the camera angles. It seems to confuse or distract you when u try to slice a fiend (I think we will always have that problem). To me this game has nothing to offer but graphics...

THE BAD:
The voice acting for Jubei is wierd... that and Robots, it's 1560, I don't think they were that advanced yet...

SUMMARY:
This game is so cool, it has good graphics, gameplay, characters, weapons, and mini-games. It's always fun to use the sub-characters especially Magoichi, Ekei, and Kotaro. It's really fun trying to get the secret items and having different best friends, because the scenario route is different depending on who your best friend is. It's a bit short, but there are lots of things you can do so you can play it over and over. Definitely worth a try.

THE GOOD:
Good all rounder.

THE BAD:
A little short.

SUMMARY:
This game has got unique additions to it and also has the deja vu aspect of including areas from the first instalment.

A well balance puzzle and action mix makes it an enjoyable experience and having extra playable characters for sub-missions depending on relationships (due to giving gifts).

Various weapons give you the choice depending onyou're preference.

Recommended for all PS2 owners.

THE GOOD:
-A very original trading system that actually changes what happens in the story, which adds a lot of replay value.
-Great graphics; eye candy from start to finish.
-All the characters are very well done, and surprisingly, there voice overs aren't horible.
-Plenty of puzzles that add a little more to the game.

THE BAD:
-Still very short.
-Could be better in many ways.

SUMMARY:
With great graphics, well done characters, and some RPG elements, this is a really good game. But it just doesn't last long enough. If your a fan of the first Onimusha, then you'll love this game, but I'd only suggest buying it if you truly want to add it to your collection, although it has more replay value then the first Onimusha, the avarage gamer could beat the game in about 4 days.

Graphics: 5/5
Replay Value: 3/5
Length: 2/5
Controls: 4/5
Sound: 4/5

Intro:
Considering the fact that I didn't get a PS2 until August 2001, I missed the first generation of PS2 games by a while, including Onimusha: Warlords. The samurai games haven't really been real big over here in the US, and the only real successful Ninja/Samurai type game that's been praised over here is the Ninja Gaiden series( which is about to make it's first next-generation entrance on the X-Box). Way of the Samurai was tried and released over here and although it received somewhat good scores from surrounding websites and game magazines, I was sitting at home despising it because of how bad the control was, which made the game really hard to play. So since I missed the first Onimusha: Warlords, and also the X-Box port Genma Onimusha, I told myself that I wasn't going to miss the next Onimusha game, which turned out to be Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny.
