THE GOOD:
Nothing. This game sucks. Don't buy it

THE BAD:
EVERYTHING. Graphics Gameplay, NO TUTORIAL Confusion, Franchise Mode is horrible, rosters weren't updated, Much Menu trouble

SUMMARY:
Look, I had the misfortune to buy this game, by far it is the worst game I have ever played. I just wasn't made for sports games. i was so happy when I traded it in a few weeks ago. Enough said. The commentary wass Ok though, it flowed smoothly, but it was on the field where the game falls apart before your very eyes. The plays are confusing and outdated, your player moves way too slow, Tackles aren't detailed. Weather effects were good, player models were suitable. What else is there to say, i am also not a fan of football in real life, but I have played Madden 2003 and it is better, plus my MAG gave 2004 10/10 and Espn Football (NFL 2k4) a 9. Theres my review.

I was never a big fan of football games for the Playstation 2. Even when Madden first came out, the graphics were impressive, but the gameplay was horrible. And then I played NFL 2K2...

Gameplay: 8/10

The gameplay for NFL 2K3 is just plain excellent this year. The controls are basically the same. It has all the previous game modes that was in NFL 2K2 with the addition of online play. Online play is extremely fun and competitive, but it has its flaws. Unlike Madden, there is no "pause" time limit, so many unlucky gamers like myself have come across certain people called "pausers". These "pausers" will usually pause the game when they are losing and will leave. Sega has even included the ability to download updated rosters. So the Eagles will have Duce Staley, and Antonio Freeman. The Dolphins will get Cater. These updated rosters are not available for online play. The franchise mode this year is probably the best thing that has happened to sports games....

This is an awesome game. This game has great graphics, menus, gameplay, and presentation. It has the usual Franchise Mode, Season Mode, Quick Game Mode, Event Mode, Practice Mode, and others. I personally like the Franchise mode because it allows me to be the Manager and play through a whole season. I get to control many details of the season and off-season. I like the play selection screen too because it shows it nicely and choosing a play is fun. This game also has great animation and detail. I did a great play, and it showed a facial response from a player of the other team. He looked mad. I also liked the sounds of the game and the commentary. Plus the ESPN broadcast style added more realism. I recommend this game for any Football or Sports fan. I can't wait to play this game online when the online adapter comes out. I give this game a 4.7 out of 5.0 because I haven't played it online yet. Also I haven't played any other professional Footbal games this year. I haven't played...
