THE BAD:
The GAME DOESN't LET U GET IN SHOTS OTHER THAN DUNKS AND LAY UPS.

SUMMARY:
It is fast which is good
But.. it is very hard to get any shots in. you may get 1 out of 7 in from past foul line>yet computer gets it in every time.
Also lay ups and dunks never miss.
Definitely hire before buying.

THE BAD:
I feel that although this game is fun, it has ALOT of flaws. First of all, i dont think the game animation is good at all. For example, go to practice and make a jump-shot. Then, pause it and go to instant replay. Put it in slow-mo and it will be very obvious that the net "swoops" up before the ball hits the rim. Its horrible. This game also lacks variety in players. Every player is exactly the same except for their looks and stats. They all shoot exactly the same way. The commentaters need to say something else. I get tired of hearing "Did you see how high he got up on that?" "I dont know what to say Don, he got up so high". There are other dumb parts of this game. I once got a defensive rebound and landed with one foot out of bounds and didnt get called! Also, when the opponent commits an intentional foul, why does the game have a cut...

THE BAD:
too little cross-overs, annoying announcers, hard to hit 3 pointers.

SUMMARY:
the game almost looks real the best basketball game for the ps2 this year.

THE BAD:
NBA2K1 had better control than this game, but it is way better than last years game. I don't know if you can draft from NCAA 2002. If Madden 2002 can draft from NCAA 2002 football, then basketball should be able to also. The rebounds suck really bad. The people just sit there looking at the ball while the other team just picks up the ball while your teammates just pose.

SUMMARY:
In a nutshell it is a good game, just a little to easy. Something to pass my time until NBA2K2 comes out in Europe for the PS2. Then I'm selling my NBA Live 2002 on EBAY or somewhere.

Hard to get used to shooting, features missing.

SUMMARY:
I think that this game is better thatn NBA Live 2001, but it is a litle harder to get used tyo shooting from outside the key. But that is just me. I think that the makers did a good job at the players faces and shoes. It would also be better if they would have added features like the madden and NHL cards. It would make the game funner. They also should have put a team practice and a 3-point/dunk contest on there too. But overall this game gets a 4.2 from me because this game is fun, great to play against your friends, great graphics, just an all out good game.
