NBA Live 2001 PS2 | 1.0 0 comments |

THE GOOD: Graphics are better, commentary is better, and the game flows.THE BAD: Being unable to change the controller configuration. SUMMARY: I have always chose EA Sports games over other companies, because of all the options. This game, which has always set the "standard" for b-ball games was a real let down. I think that most people would agree. If you are a new PS2 owner, don't trade in the PS1 version of this game for the PS2 version, you'll be sorry. |

THE GOOD: Graphics, gameplay, sound, and the fun!THE BAD: The cut to movies! SUMMARY: This new game for the PS2 is awsome! It is like no other basketball game I've every played. it has people complaining about fouls and all that kind of good stuff. And unlike many basketball games were everyone looks the same, except skin color and uniform. This game has unique features about each player. And the comentator even gives stats or history about the players. We all know that Shaq sucks at free throws, so it would be harder to make a shot with him than to use another player with a better free throw %. It has too many features to name so I'll leave it at that! |

NBA Live for PS2. The best b-ball game out there for Ps2. | 4.7 0 comments |

THE GOOD: Graphics and one on one.THE BAD: Took away alot of options that were in the Live 01 for playstation. SUMMARY: This game is great. The graphics are superb. The gameplay is basically what you would except fomr a Live game. My only thing that I found wrong with this game is that it took away alot of the cool stuff found in the PS1 version. Such as 3 pt. shootout, custom teams, multi-player trades, franchise mode, and other such things like that. |

NBA Live is better on psx! | 2.5 0 comments |

THE GOOD: graphicsTHE BAD: control SUMMARY: I'll just start off by saying that this game won't allow you to change your controler configuration. I have always been able to change the control, so that I feel comfortabe with the game, but now that option isn't available. Besides this, NBA Live on PS2 isn't fluid. The players take to long to shoot the ball, which results in lots of blocked shots, and frustation! Rent this one from BLOCKBUSTER first, before you buy!!!! |

THE GOOD: the graphicsTHE BAD: same glitches familiar to the rest of the live series SUMMARY: At 1st look this game wuz the best thing i had ever played because of the realistic graphics but after getting into the game and actually playing it i discovered a much more unrealistic experience. This is a decent game and the best on the ps2 right now but NBA 2k1 for Dreamcast is better by a long shot |

NBA Live 2001, New Features are worth buying. | 4.5 0 comments |

THE GOOD: The New Challenges, New Moves, New In-Game animations.THE BAD: It gets frozen at times(when players argue with refs), They use white as a background, the music is not as good as past games(they even repeat past NBA Live tracks), they still dont have many managing options, The players dont get better as you progress thourgh seasons, also the stats for each character are dispropotionate some have 88 and many past stars now have 75. SUMMARY: The Game is at its best while you play it, however there are some things missing while you manage the teams, also stealing might be the greatest challenge in the game since it seems that not even having the ball in front of you, you might get the steal. It is still the best basketball game out there but there is ways to go to be perfect. |
