NARC

You kids remember a little arcade game called NARC? If you haven't, here's some schematics - you're a cop who kills drug dealers, and the actual game taught you that if you say yes to drugs, you're going to get shot by a mother*bleep*ing badass cop that would make Rambo look like a bitch. In essence, it's anti-drug propaganda, but after playing this, it's justified. Let's flash forward to 2005, with a budget priced title on the PS2 that just so happened to be called NARC. Ouch. Way to shit on a small lived legacy, Sony! Although, in a sense, it's fitting; it looks like it was made in five weeks, tops. Mediocre graphics, fair gameplay, and not much to really hook you in, except promises of free hookers and blow. Plot twist: You get none of that shit!

So yeah, you're no longer a killer of drug dealers; you're a drug dealer and a druggie who just so happens to be a cop. You'll be under scrutiny for this by other cops at times. The...

THE GOOD:
Nice range of weapons, Arresting people is fun, and beating a suspect in shackles.

THE BAD:
Grand theft auto ripoff!
Crappy graffics, looks like it was made 5 years ago. drug use is lame, selling drugs is *bleep*ed, The city is way to small.

SUMMARY:
You are very limited to what you can do in this game, and you have to make sure you do "good" for all the "bad" things you do. If you take drugs, sell drugs, or get caught selling, or beat the crap out of good citizens, your rating goes down fast. the farther your rating drops you get demoted and end up as a regular citizen, then you have to work your way back up to rookie again. The fighting could have been a little better. The only good thing about using the drugs is the acid, it looked really cool. If you use to much you become addicted and need to fight your addiction.

This is ONE of the BEST games, I have EVER played!

This game rocks, the music is cool. The drug effects are cool, and the shootouts are just plain sweet!

Music: Really catchy songs, especially when you take a hit of hash. You get this 60's song.

Drug Effects: Speed makes you go fast, that's all I know, lol. But LSD is worth popping a pill for, cause the characters turn into these joker head dudes.

Shootouts: Glass shattering, and carnage. A man's best friend. The gun animations are soo cool too.

Get out and buy this beauty, it is only $19.99! and WELLLL worth it!
