THE GOOD: The worst parts in the game have been fixed (i.e. the Lefty bug from the 2004 version), which makes this game outstanding. The gameplay is very smooth with an added extension of the big-play control. Graphics are as smooth as possible. Both stadiums and players are very realistic. The extra added feature during the off-season is great, mini games that can help improve your players stats makes it worth battling through a 162 game season. There is also an addition of Major League Baseball's top 100 prospects. You can see and play as some of the top prospects of the past two of three years and see them develop from prospects into every day players and into superstars. THE BAD: Only downside is the lack of options when it comes to creating your own stadium. Added features to the owner mode portion of the game regarding the creating scheme, would have made this game even better. SUMMARY: By far the best version of the MVP games. Which is also sad in the same since EA Sports will no longer be making baseball games after this year. |
